What's the point of working in a minimum wage job when it gets you zero respect? I'm a retailcuck and I have to stack shelves while wearing a uniform that made me feel like a prisoner when I first wore it.

When people I used to go to school with see me in the store they literally laugh at me. I'm not even memeing, this has happened three times (all of them 7+/10 girls).

Of course on every single wagecuck job I have had I have been reprimanded for not socialising with other co-workers. It's not enough to show up and do the job anymore.

In every single workplace the contrast between male and female wagie jobs has been stark. Females get the easy standing at the counter jobs while men get the equal paying dirty jobs. No, not "fulfilling manual labour", before any of you try to claim that.

The world doesn't owe you the food on your plate, the house you live in or the books you read.

Gotta work for it.

>working for respect

t. someone who hasn't worked a day in his life

If we lived in 2016 BC then I'd agree. Now that we live in the Keynesian run modern world that's literally no longer the case. The world owes me.

That is factually incorrect actually.

You wish nigga.

You can literally legitimise anything with that bullshit.

The world doesn't even owe you being alive.

>The world doesn't even owe you being alive.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

Plus we aren't talking about "the world" but employers, whom "the world" doesn't owe exploitable minimum wage workers to by the way.

The world doesn't owe the employer that but people flock to him anyways to take up a shitty job for minimum wage.

Have you considered not working a minimum wage job?

Are you being serious right now? I'm asking because there's a considerable amount of people who really seem to be this detached from reality.

>implying most minimum wage workers have a choice

the "le poor people are poor because they are lazy" meme strikes again

Your not seeing the big picture, user. I am going to try my best and involve some Veeky Forums into this clearly not-/Veeky Forums thread.

First off I would pick up the book from pic-intended. I will give you a motivation to become more than you are right now.

Right now you are starting at the bottom. This is probably your first job and you are still young. Thats ok, you have plenty of room to grow and learn.

Second off, look at this job as a stepping stone. A link to a better job that in your minds-eye garners more respect. But what is respect? A title? Some 7 (who is really a soft 6) admiration and people not to laugh at you? Well, fuck them in the cheese.

That paycheck is the only thing that you are going to get that will help you feel better about yourself. And after Uncle Sam (assuming your an Amerifat like me) takes his cut and others, you'll be left with a paltry sum. SAVE AS MUCH OF THAT AS YOU CAN. Keep saving money.

Save and learn how to invest, which is going to be my next lit recommendation.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Kiyosaki. Did I spell his name right? Well, that's your next read.

After that we will talk more. Best of luck to you user.

Well I was expecting OP to tell me why he is working a minimum wage job.
