Are there any philosophy books that talk about what is presented in pic related?

Kierkegaard probably
I think the brothers karamazov had a similar message

literally heidegger and existential phenomenology

Hegel's PoS has a chapter on phrenology, which is the same underlying principle.

these type of images leave a bad taste in my mouth because of how popular they are among the crowd who believes in:

>hurr durr im so deep and profound because i know what nihlism is
>hurr durr hedonism is the answer to life
>hurr durr the void will consume you when you stare into the abyss
>hurr durr nothing matters bro just bee urself
>hurr durr i think nihilism = a strong desire to die and i want to kill myself because god is dead

but have another one anyway OP.

>there are people who believe Nietzsche saw nihilism as a good thing
Oh boy were they wrong. The answer to Nihilism is Creation.

Micky's reply is a complete strawman, fucking hell.

You have twenty-one (21) days in which to name sixteen (16) ways to support your argument

that one is not that good desu

elaborate

If you can't summarize it, you're dumb.

thanks for the input

I have one way to support my argument. Read "Thus Spoke Zarathustra"

Trust me, nothing will go in. It's just a surface observation.

Donald makes a statement about the nature of consciousness.
Mickey replies by shifting to epistemology? It makes no fucking sense..

You think talking epistemolgy doesnt make any sense when discusing the "nature" or things?
wew lad

>there is no intrinsic value in this material universe
>about consciousness

it's baffling to see nietzsche praised as a pro-nihilism savior when his works so strongly revolved around what response one should take to nihilism. "God is dead" is always seen as a self-defeated cry of anguish, when it should really just be seen as an observation with no emotional ties imo.

i think this is one of the reason this picture bothers me so much, mickey's answer doesnt even address the statement brought forward by donald duck

donald's clearly bothered by the lack of intrinsic meaning in life, and mickey's response doesnt.. address that, "trusting the chemicals in your brain to tell you they are chemicals" and "all knowledge is ultimately based on that which we cannot proved" have to do more with ontology and epistemology as said

Ontology and epistemology are different fields. The former is complicated enough without strawmanning or injecting some "but how do u know that u know lol xD" solipsism.

>Heidegger
>Knowledge
It's almost like you have no clue what you're talking about...

Edmund Husserl and his phenomenology (although he failed in the end).

Welcome to Veeky Forums

>there is no need to fear what you don't control

that is the very definition of fear. The number of people who get PTSD from circumstances they feel are in their control is zero.

>literally heidegger and existential phenomenology
>heidegger
>existentialism

keirkegaard is turning in his grave

can someone explain the "will you fight? or will you perish like a dog?"

i don't get the point of that

To encourage you to fight on through your existence or just lay down and die like a dog. Its pretty straight forward and clear cut.

This is actually, all memeing aside, some extremely pure ideology

>twenty-one (21)
I do this but don't remember where I got it from, what's this form of writing?

>>hurr durr hedonism is the answer to life
Fucking hedonists. I hate them so god damn much and even I don't quite know why

>All knowledge is based on that which we cannot prove.

Popper should give you a good way to deal with this truth.

Justificationism is a shitty meme. It needs to go in the trash.

isn't the picture kind of implying the opposite, that hedonistic nihilism is incorrect or atleast unfounded

refute it

Münchhausen trilemma is pretty decent desu senpai.

>so user how do you decide what books to read?
>I just pick things that match up with dank memes I find on a Malaysian ostrich rearing forum

Envy, greed, or a mix of them.
