Lest say you have 2 coconuts

Lest say you have 2 coconuts

One is made of typical Matter and the other is made of Antimatter

What happens when they touch?

Is this a serious question?

How do you make things out of Anti matter

yes, what is wrong with the question?

Assume that there is a small secluded part of the universe that has an antimatter galaxy.

There is an antimatter earth, and there you find an anti matter coconut. You then go into empty space and touch both coconuts together

As you push them together, the parts that touch create an explosion of such magnitude that the remaining pieces are blasted off into space at 10% of light speed until they eventually collide with something or lose momentum over a lot of time. The antimatter parts continue to collide with space dust on its way in a spectacular show of fireworks until nothing is left. The remainders of the normal matter coconuts are then carefully collected and valued as a rare delicacy.

It converts to energy with a 100% efficiency rate.

1 gram of anti-matter has enough energy to equal roughly 42 kilotons of TNT, or 3 Hiroshima bombs

>100% efficiency rate

It is, bro

Fuck these nerds it would probably look like a coconut but the flesh and milk would be like coconut/almondyish

...that isn't the question. anti-matter and matter convert 100% of their mass into energy.

The scattered anti-matter atoms would still react when they hit other atoms...

as soon as the reaction begins it would scatter the atoms before 100% of them could react. Unless you have a vessel that can contain both matter and antimatter and withstand the resulting explosion.

With out an outside force forcing them to interact some way, they'd just barely touch each other before blowing away. Like an antimatter leidenfrost effect.

Holy shit you are pants on head retarded.

100% of the atoms would react regardless. The explosion might be different than a conventional explosion but the anti-atoms would still touch and react with other normal atoms in the atmosphere.

The anti-matter atoms wouldn't just magically become non reactive if they didn't react in the initial explosion.

Holy fuck you are stupid.

atmosphere?

It's not gay if nuts don't touch, but yours did, so GAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!

How do you pick up the antimatter coconut?

Yes, you know the one we have here on here. It is filled with atoms and molecules.

The atoms in our atmosphere are so tightly packed that if an anti-matter bomb were to explode any anti-matter that theoretically would be scattered would react right away anyway.

Once again, anti-matter and matter convert to energy with 100% efficiency.

1+(-1)=0

I assumed this was taking place in a vacuum. If it occurred in an atmosphere the anti-matter coconut would be de-atomized before it could touch the regular coconut.

This.

>He saw a movie about fission bombs and didn't understand it

Yes that's part of why this post is so retarded. We made no such assumptions.

with antimatter clamps

DUH!

Magnets (seriously)

You contain anti-matter with super powerful magnetic fields

You end up with 1/12 of an antimatter coconut

fucking kek
