Your Favourite Sandwich

I really like reubens. What do you like?

Reuben and Cuban are the two best kinds

Smoked pastrami on caraway rye with hot mustard, provolone, lettuce, sometimes green pepper

Cuban sandwiches are fucking great. Monte Cristo as well.

...

various types of chicken cutlet
meatball grinder
roast beef with horseradish and what not

Italian hero. Specifically, "The Champ" from My Hero.

Ham and emental on baguette.

As an actual Cuban, i don't get the appeal. Its not a very flavorful sandwich.

Leftover hanger steak (thinly sliced) and melted cheddar on toasted white.

It's not much but holy fuck do I love those sandwiches

Media noches however are really good.

hey i can't speak for the majority of shitty cubans i've had but when you roast a pork butt with a shitload of garlic and recalto till it pulls and put it on some soft chewey bread with good serrano swiss and whole grain mustard, well shit nigga how is that not flavorful as fuck

i apologize
>recaito
aka sofrito

Torta Milanesa

These. Also I read "My Hero" as Mr. Hero and got excited. Then disappointed. So few people know the bliss that is the Romanburger.

The McChicken, the best fast food sandwich ever invented.

egg salad

turkey club

reubens are great but I find that places usually put too much thousand island dressing on it so I ask for it on the side

also cuban and french dip

I love olives.

Salad sandwich with salad cream.
>Lettuce.
>Rocket.
>Peppery greens.
>Onion.
>Grated carrot.
>Cucumber.

I do fucking love meaty sandwiches... but salad sandwiches always appeal to me more.

I make a sandwich that's mad dope

tomatoes
some sort of meat (bacon, salami, chicken)
aged cheddar
big slice of red onion
mayo
cucumber slices
crushed up avocado
salt & pepper

idk what you'd call it but it's damn good

Everyone has different tastes user, what sandwich do you like?

pb&j is pretty good

Same. Or a good pastrami on rye. I like good, simple things.

...

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich.

Good taste op.

Add like a pound of Sauerkraut.

gimme one o dem bookmakers huh

Same desu, but I prefer Dijon over Thousand Island on mine.

not a fan of olives but i like brineyness, so i make a faux muffletta with toasted rye, provolone, mortadella, salami, ham, and banana peppers.

what the fuck

I love a good Reuben, but my favorite is a "Red Baron". It's basically a Reuben, but with sweet and sour red cabbage instead of sauerkraut, and it's on Pumpernickel. Fucking heaven......
In second place, it's a three way tie between Muffaletta, Oyster Po'Boy, and a (good) Italian Sub.

Italian cold cut hoagie
Philly roast pork with broccoli rabe
Muffuletta
Fried catfish po'boy
Cuban
Bocadillo con jamon y tomate
Pastrami on rye with mustard
Bagel with lox
Sausage/bacon, egg and cheese on a roll

>Dressing
>Cheddar
>Mayo
>Whole wheat bread

This is my favorite sandwich, but I usually only make it around Christmas time because that is when I have access to leftover turkey, roast ham, and turkey dressing.

How did it take so long?

Reubens are great, but I'm uncomfortable giving money to Jews when they're not swindling me with high interest or charging me overdraft fees. It feels so weird to hand over money to them voluntarily for the free exchange of goods.

>hate the fact that jews are the primary retailers. Continually go to their establishments because I'm too lazy to cure my own corned beef, make my own sauerkraut or rye bread. But I have enough energy to bitch about jews on 4ch.

Idiot.

Donair

definitely reubens, but I substitute the dressing for plain mustard

So glad to see this right up top. So true

>Reuben
Especially after St. Paddy's day when I have leftover brisket.

>Banh Mi
I've never made one myself, but I'd certainly want to try sometime - found a good recipe for crispy pork belly that I think would work great for one.

>Ham and Swiss on a crisp baguette with butter
>Lox and schmear on a plain or everything bagel
>Croque-Monsieur
>Italian sub
>Grilled Cheese - Meunster, Gouda and a little Provolone.
>Philly cheesesteak with peppers, onions and provolone
>Cream cheese and Jelly
>Open-face sandwiches on Knackebrod - usually ham/turkey and cheese with tomato or cucumber
>Muffaletta
>Po'boys
Catfish is okay, but I like fried shrimp or oyster, fully-dressed with remoulade on the side

And of course, a well-made burger - by which I mean one cooked on a grill.

Reuben
Cuban
Pastrami on rye
Muffaletta
Philly cheesesteak
PB&J
Po'boys
Italian
Chicken Tender Publix Sub
Lox, capers, onion, tomato and cream cheese
Bacon, egg, and cheese on pressed Cuban bread
Falafel
French dip
Patty melt

Sandwiches are just fucking great

fried oyster sandwhich
soft crab sandwhich

does a steamed bun count as a sandwich? isn't it the same in principle? what about pizza and calzones?

i like tuna salad if it's done right.

Limburger and onion
