The bread is excellent. They also get first pick of the meat and produce in my town (a farmer's granddaughter told me this) and then Winn-dixie and other stores get to fight over what's left.

Store is clean and not full of the dregs of society. The deli has a weekly special sub (tendies, Italian, or turkey usually) which are made of their amazing bread for about $5-7.

They give out awesome samples too, it's stuff you could cook for dinner on a date night and your date would be impressed.

I've never eaten at publix before. I'm planning to go there Thursday for lunch.

What should I order?

A big fan favourite is the Chicken Tenders Sub. But of course, you can choose from many others. They even have awesome flatbreads that are essentially folded pizza thingies (not a calzone)

Go online and browse through various subs that they have. Go from there and customize. Choose what you wanna get on it. Describe how you want it.

Place the order for a time in which you will be at your Publix. Your sub should be waiting for you on a hot plate/cold case depending on what you got. Grab a bag of Dirty's Chips, or fill up a bowl of soup to go with your meal.

As for recommendations? They're never perfect because everyone fine tunes their likings. I grab a BH Ultimate with onions, lettuce, and garlic pickles, with extra mayo. Tastes great to me.
