How realistic is it to think I can make a living self publishing fiction novels and/or books about history and politics?

I've heard that it's tough to make a living self-publishing but you can at least find a few readers, which is better than nothing. I'd say give it a try and see what happens.

It's around 0.3% realistic.

I hate this rat faced twat! Worst "actress" in the bizness.

There are like 50 fiction writers on the planet who actually make living with literature alone

As long as you really want it, it's doable. As implied, there isn't much competition.

When will the cognitive dissonance end? How much is enough? Le "someone is tired of her shit bro". You wouldn't get along with her or girls like her have no personality. You want a girl with personality who you get along with like Lena goyim. Small tits, too tall.

Yeah an adult will come along eventually and just remark "Don't wallow in self pity, make the best of what you're given". That's a nice resolution. She's still not yours. You still settle, you still get less than Chad because you're sub8 with no social status aaaand the dissonance is peaking again.

Even Trump didn't pull a #her because he's barely a 7, genetically. He got a second grade model not even hot for Balkan/Slavic standards.

This WILL be an issue for all sub8 for the rest of our lives including the Donald. The only thing we can do is try to pay minimal attention to it. Hit ourselves for posting about it, thinking about it and go lurk some other thread or build a hotel or something.

If only people would think like me so I can at least feel a sense of belonging but it's all about rationalization these days. Because I'M the weirdo right? Go on ostracize me, I'm used to it.

If that

Significantly Worse odds than becoming a rockstar

What's up with these totally unhinged posters?

What do you want to know? I'm 24yo neet, failed existence, lurking since 05. Not even that bad at people and pretty handsome looking so I pulled some sixes with my sevenish ass. Yay.

Memes became dreams and the election made them snap

Memes are Simulacra, they do not represent, nor misrepresent reality, they are themselves environmental and "real" in their owne sense—Be warned! Whether 'tis joking or serious that ye Meme—Be thou warned that the results are muscular concrete: it matters not to the judge whether you hit the child playfully or not, if you hit him hard enough.

Oh please if anything it's puahate and all the redpill shit that gave us the lingo to express our deep self hatred, not some American sitcom.

Self contradicting gibberish or just pretentious way to say you subscribe to common sense realism. Good job buddy.

& btw interactive media give a whole new meaning to 'making the news'

azy
"Common sense realism" sounds far more abstruse and pretentious than my fantasia. But though it be stupidly written, and I do not apologise for being bored, it is not self-contradictory.

"The Media" is a wholly outdated concept. Veeky Forums is more media to many than the traditional outlets.

By "interactive media" I meant the chans, and the facebooks and twitters. That was the point.

>not some American sitcom
Father Ted an American sitcom?

That clip/pic has been floating around the internet since the 90s btw.

Shieet, look out guys! He's not bad at people either!

Real Talk:

The main segment of people out there "making a living" self-publishing are erotica writers. Not sure why, but that seems to be the case.

What self-publishing _is_ useful for, is getting your work out there, and learning about self-promotion. If you can build a modest audience of say, a few thousand people, it is likely you will attract a legit publisher, which can be a positive next step.

But you can't write to make a living. You write because you have something to say.

That's right and you know what? I'm proud I'm above this muh khv feels SA cesspit you can believe that

Hi op. Im my country there's one person like this. In most countries there's none. Good luck!

if it is genre crap and you work 20 hrs a day churning out content, marketing it, maybe 10-15% chance.

generic fiction, history, politics: literally a 0% percent chance. it is no different than throwing a single copy of your book into a field

>reverse image search only gives you "clothing" ...

Anya Olsen. Don't check her out. She's a recent embodiment of cleansed pornography, where not only assholes are bleached to the point of sterility, but also technical aspects like color grading (close to being faded). Main offenders are Tushy and Vixen. My obsession with this is merely a reflection of my self-hatred, I suppose.
