How common is it really for universities to put a lot of course content online, accessible to anyone?

Even in countries where uni is free, don't they at least want you to enroll as a student and register for classes to see their content?

Why can't I learn something for fun while working, or something that is hard to make a career out of?

- most people don't seed at all so I'm usually the only seeder for more rare shit
- I probably don't have enough space to download everything and store it for a long time
- If I delete it and the other person too, the file is completely gone

the worst part is that k-12 is designed in such a way so that everyone passes. if you're not borderline retarded but live in a blue collar area (filled with spics and most likely niggers) you will be dragged down for years. even if you take honors/AP classes in high school you still waste all 8 years of elementary school.

the way they curriculum should be designed is so that the average grade is a C, or lower, and failure is a real possibility.

I'm a high school drop out. I built an IT business, made money, and I'm now "retired". I don't have a single degree or certification. I learned most everything I needed to learn on the internet. The best part is I can shitpost nearly 24/7.
