To use free software is to make a political and ethical choice asserting the right to learn, and share what we learn with others. Free software has become the foundation of a learning society where we share our knowledge in a way that others can build upon and enjoy.

Currently, many people use proprietary software that denies users these freedoms and benefits. If we make a copy and give it to a friend, if we try to figure out how the program works, if we put a copy on more than one of our own computers in our own home, we could be caught and fined or put in jail. That’s what’s in the fine print of the license agreement you accept when using proprietary software.

The corporations behind proprietary software will often spy on your activities and restrict you from sharing with others. And because our computers control much of our personal information and daily activities, proprietary software represents an unacceptable danger to a free society.

why?

Bundle Theory.

Luckily I don't need you, or anyone else, to be convinced in order to validate it.

how is an ontological theory a cause

Ideals are like the stars. Even as children, everyone knows the North Star is and will always be true North while everything else on Earth can be unpredictable. Reaching the North Star is impossible and unnecessary, but it can help you find your way home even on the darkest of nights.

I see a lot of causes, not a lot of convincing. Is reading comprehension this poor among millennials?

I serve only my own cause. I don't need to convince "you" of this, because it is right and I know this because it is my cause.

The Overman's fruition.

The world is "will to power", and nothing else besides. You might call naturalism a "spook", but like our scienceman says, you don't have to believe in health and decline (or hone your instincts for them) for it to affect you (here atheism is suicide). What follows from everything being differentiated in the flux, is that everything is unequal. That implies hierarchy, and order of rank. You might reject the ressentiment morality of the everday as a "spook" but the objectifying effect of power-relations is much more difficult to refute. We aren't in a senseless chaos of equality, all things unable to be compared. The whims of weak "unique ones" should be crushed. Society already does so at this point. What the sciencemen call "progress" is really just a mostly-healthy zeitgeist. Everything in existence appears connected and essential within space and time, so even things contrary to the Overman ensure its becoming (an "equal and opposite force"). Eternal Reccurence (conservation of energy as applied to time) means that everything is right (as if it could be otherwise..) with the world, even the most petty unique ones.

I want to make a revolution so that nobody can boss us around anymore.

We regulate politics because we distrust leaving power up for grabs. We should also regulate money, because money is a means to power just as our political institutions are. Any system that proposes to safeguard the common people against abuse from the powerful must also address wealth inequality or else it merely moves abuse from the political arena to the fiscal/economic arena.

In the Soviet Union, capitalism triumphed over socialism. In America, capitalism triumphed over democracy.

I support the eradication of all freedoms and the destruction of our functioning democracy because it pleases me.

things being different from one another does not imply hierarchy

I will hunt you. Not because I am spooked by democracy or freedom, but because it pleases me.

That because of the inevitable conclusion that nothing is certain, thus the nihilistic foundation of spooks-hunting, we are therefore forced to accept our own existence as it is. This means that we must examine our own "sense of existence" through an empirical approach and through that lens, see what the philosophical implications may be. As psychology has shown us, and how our own intuitions prove, we are constrained not to perception of reality alone, but by a myriad of forces that constitute and shape our intuitions and states of perceptions. The biological processes that control how these intuitions are created, and how they work, are permanently within us. We have a mind that is built to be filled with spooks, even those who contend themselves to be spookless are under their own delusion more ironically spooked than those blindly devoted to causes! Then, since our perception is not solely based on input from our senses, but rather by what spooks we've allowed to fill our minds, we have the option of picking our spooks (although the act of picking a spook is itself a motivation to do what is right, therefore a spook). I say that my cause is to pick your own spooks! You don't have a choice of being spookless, existence is constrained by a structure that doesn't permit spooklessness and will always work towards finding those purposes and goal that motivate us so profusely in order to search for comfort and happiness. Give up the resistance! Embrace the spooks!
I myself live by rules of self-discipline:
Wake up at 4:30am.
Always read.
Eat healthy, be fit.
Be the source of good emotions in a social setting.
Engage in your environment.

I also gave in to my need for group identity! I chose the LDS and became a mormon! I accepted the promise of eternal salvation, and reap the benefits of an existence filled with hope, faith and a great social life. I will find love one day, a relationship which will further increase my happiness, have children, fulfilling my embedded need to procreate, I will laugh and smile at the world, I make it all my property! I embrace spooks! I take this inevitable reality and mold it to me! I accept these causes to take over me, do so! But I make sure I get mine! I am the most egoist man that's ever lived! I become the SPOOKS!

you're outside of my control, and do so would be in contrast to nature, plus its a spook

It technically does, since they are different (discernible, comparable) in terms of power-relations.

pls, you seriously can't think of any examples that don't fall under your power-relations umbrella? If you can't pls explain, if not admit you're wrong and why you are wrong.

Sounds good desu

If our reality is constantly in a flux, never being stable enough to consist of discreet entities (such as atoms) then it is best characterised as an eternal play of forces. Anthropologically, the world (especially the animate world) can be thought of as alternating between health and decline. If you don't think in those terms then you cause suicide of your own health

My cause is in everyone's self interest

globalism is the fucking future and if you have any reservations you're in the way

I draw pony porn to enlighten the masses with idyllic shapes that transcend the modern psyche and reach our most innate and primitive of needs. Heightened by an autistic imagination that knows no boundaries, my lines and curves spark the vivid imagery of colourful, cartoon, winking marehoods like supernovas, lightening in waves of warmth, love and satisfaction across the gazer's celestial body.

It is ecstasy, my quest.

I am unconvinced and disgusted.

There is nothing I can call this cause, maybe it's an invention of my own (Porbably not, just paraphrasing it very badly), so I'll name it "The Cause of Sisyphus" in honour to Camus' essay:

To believe in a better world, striving for happiness while doing the repetitive tasks we sre set to do by the larger forces of nature.

>we are set to do by the larger forces of nature
he doesn't believe that his life and actions are in his own hands.

how are you going to strive for a better world if you're that weak? Camus thinks that life is absurd and uncaring, but nature has no way of forcing you to feel sad, your perspective is entirely of your own choosing...but that doesn't mean that he thinks nature sets us tasks to do and we have no control, we get to pick the mountains that we climb

Authors/artists/storytellers will always pour their souls into the most capable mediums.

Books will always be lame, disrespectable, tiring, pretentious, academia-muzzled throwbacks if there are more powerful mediums available. (and even moreso if there are other gadgets more capable than ereaders, if there are fluid/coloured screens for computers more capable than e-paper)

I like to find autistic pasty dork boys from mmos. I then try to wiggle my way into their life and minds. If they aren't strong enough to resist me, we eventually date and I would bring them over to my house, were we would live together. I am hoping this next catch I got is the one that works.
