Would time seem to flow backwards during a "Big Crunch"...

Would time seem to flow backwards during a "Big Crunch"? Is the point of maximum expansion the heat death of the universe? If so, how would energy begin to contract once again?

No.

There is no point, but that is the result.

Gravity would have to out accelerate dark energy. It won't.

No no.
Its like... how would I describe it...
You know when you spill a bunch of jelly beans and put them back in the jar?

Same bits and bobs but all in a different order now. Except while they were out of the jar they got crushed. Same beans, different state.

How do the beans get picked back up?

Can you explain dark energy with a pleasing jelly bean analogy?

>How do the beans get picked back up?

They don't. There is no "big crunch". This is a bullshit thread.

Its not that they get "Picked back up"
Its more like the jar they are in "Breathes"
Life is a vibration.

Jellies go in.
Jellies go out.

The macro reflects the micro.
"The breath of God"

Dark Energy.
Here we go. Alright.
Theory: This universe is basically a vibration. In it exist all the sub-frequencies.
When you tap into the "Dark Energy"
It is merely vibrating/resonating the foundation of the universe.

The sound of 2 black holes colliding with each other is something like 3.6 ^ -21 hertz or so I have heard....

The required energy and engineering to generate such a low low frequency would take an insane amount of time and energy.
It would only be worth it if you could find ways to make it cheap and affordable to produce.

Luck would have it a student of Harmonics when applied to physics would definitely have a trick or two up his sleeve to do so...
However...when this goes beyond a certain point of production you start dealing with things such as time travel and logic loops, dimensions, space travel...things that make comic books look like absolute fact.

But hey...if you wanna fight with God by all means... He is infinitely deep as he is wise...

What are you trying to say?

>kys

I am trying to say that science in this direction leads to everything from your wildest dreams and imagination brought to reality.

I know this sounds ridiculous user but...the universe is like your dick. It shrivels up when it gets cold.

The universe will probably die in heat death and then after an absurd period of time quantum fluctuations will produce another big bang

Not only are we infatesmally small creatures living on a giant rock...our galaxies are mere dust particles in the fabric of the universe.
Outside of that?
Perhaps the multiverse, perhaps death.
The only way to know would be to rip the fabric of space apart and to do that would take some severe gravity manipulation. Even if you did manage to create enough destructive interference to gash it chances are the multiverse runs in a series of small decimal numbers variations. 0.000000001/0.0000000002/ 0.000000003
etc etc
Where each "next" universe has one sub atomic/ atomic difference in its "fabric"

Really REALLY dreamer inside the dream shit going on here.

What is fucking terrifying is how much of this reflects biblical type studies.

"In the beginning there was the word"
Then came the verse.
And the next.
And the multiverse.
And the whole. The whole was the omniverse.

>Inb4 Gods/Fairies/Demons are all interdimensional + extraterrestrial beings.

Mental experiment. If the multiverse is real surely there must exist a universe where "Magic" is real. A word that can unleash power in their world.

The variations of this universe to that universe can be calculated by removing variables until summation into its ratio equivalent in this reality. In short if you can gash the universe from this end. They can gash the universe from theirs.

For anything to get through though would take holding the "gash" open. This costs even MORE energy. This fabric we are living in has elasticity. Elasticity must be a contributing factor to a world with such a small decimal change in composition if we were to build a machine with enough destructive interference. The more steps removed when multidimensional jumping the more energy required to make the jump.

With the wave like nature of everything in the universe i wouldn't completely discount the big crunch. We already know the laws of physics have been different in our universe's past (see accelerated expansion in the early universe) who is to say gravity wont become stronger in the future?

The only thing that will become faster is expansion of the universe.
This means gravity will remain the same however without wells like black holes keeping everything together we will just break apart in expansion. All galaxies are slipping away from each other as we speak. Although some collide with each other...

What is.
What is voided.
What is chaos.

Please never post again.

Why is science all dicks/triangles and oblate spheroids???
;-;

As far as I can figure, entropy would continue to increase in small frames of reference, so net entropy would continue increasing
Therefore, no

STOP THESE THREADS YOU MADE ONE LIKE TWO WEEKS AGO

JUST BECAUSE WE MIGHT NOT EXCEED THE ESCAPE VELOCITY DOESN'T MEAN TIME IS GOING TO GO BACKWARD GOD FUCKING DAMMIT STOP IT WITH THIS RETARDED THREAD YOU'RE CLEARLY TROLLING

>expansion slows
>gravity wins
>everything comes back together

there's no reversal of time, just imagine galaxies colliding and shit until its all smushed down to a singularity again

pro tip: heat death isn't going to happen

The heat death of the universe will never be experienced because it take infinity time to get there.
