Murakami?

brave new world by aldous huxley or
we by yevgeny zamyatin

This

>Murakami?
No, Aristophanes
Yes of course he's fucking talking about Murakami. Why are you asking this?

"We" by Evgheni Zamiatin

you may as well tell him to read fahrenheit and clockwork. he needs a palate cleanser and time gap between each book so he can notice the subtle nuances. There is no rush, unless he only picked them up for his edgy phase

>Evgheni
There is no conceivable provenance for that H

How did you do it? It was the most cringey and boring book I've ever read.
That was before I associated it with red pillers and tinfoils by the way.

I sincerely believe you're even worse than kids who worship 1984. Kys, friend.

Whatever's next on the reading list for your high school english class.

If you haven't read it, then A Brave New World.

1984 = dsytopia of the collective
A Brave New World = dystopia of the self

If you have read it, then why don't you give us more information to go by next time you FUCK.

I don't think the lad will appreciate 900 tedious pages of sixteen year old girls getting wet panties.

You're clearly out of touch with what the lads want these days.

probably an R. A. Salvatore joint

>out of touch.

That was a nice song back in the day.

Literally any book you feel like reading. Go to the library, roll a die, and go to the shelf of the number that it lands on, graba random book without looking.

...

It fills me with shame that I read this while listening to the Persona 4 soundtrack.

I was always put off by this book because I had these feminist english teachers who worshipped it like some gospel.

If you want to stay with Orwell: Wigan Pier and Keep the Aspidistra Flying.

A palate cleanser would be a great idea.

Well what parts of the book did you like?

I'd recommend he reads Island after BNW, since it's pretty much a direct counterpoint to it

>back in the day
It still is. See annoying faggots in the youtube comment section.

1Q84 is one of the worst Murakami books. Even Norwegian Wood is better.

It warms my heart that good and faithful liberals are back to being concerned about executive power ;¬}

Honestly, I loved the romantic angle. And the helplessness of W Smith which me and all others are facing in today's world.

Definitely Huxley's Brave New World.

You mention you've enjoyed Smith's helplesness; then this is your book! Much more -and much worse- lies ahead.

Besides, Orwell was actually inspired by Huxley.
He had his first print of 1984 mailed to him for his opinon.

This is where the bread-crumb trail leads.
Follow it.

In addition to the essential companion pieces We and BNW, look into The Machine Stops by Forster and Player Piano by Vonnegut

The Sticky.
