But that would make it low culture
I'm in. Sick poor people coughing in my art galleries would be a welcome addition.
what is we mass culture high?
the masses are fine without your "culture"
Exactly
...
>high culture
What a fucking meme.
We should be teaching individuals how to think for themselves in a critical and analytical way.
Culture has many merits but none should be slaves to it.
...
these are all way too long and unwieldy like my dick xd

Jesus Christ talk about hipster fascism
There is no more correct answer than this
fuck off samefag
That is quite literally what high-culture does, though.

You don't need to spread high culture to the masses. As long as the elites have it, society will be in relatively good shape. You know we're fucked when our elite contains droves of pop stars and film actors.
>implying this is possible
Poor people are by nature stupid and have no interest in high art. When's the last time you met a poor and uneducated person who regularly attended the opera or regularly visited museums? Philanthropists spend literally millions of dollars trying to get poor people into high art but it just doesn't work. They would rather listen to something awful like rock or rap. Disgusting. No matter how much money is poured in, it just doesn't work.
Starving artists don't count.
>do you even know any poor people who are interested in high art??
>poor people who are interested dont count tho
Woweeewa
You need money and free time to do those things.
Do you have any fucking idea how much opera tickets can cost? Poor people have to get food and pay off debts, all the money that's left should be spared for later. Of course they don't care about high art, they have better things to do.
We don't "need to".
Don't cast pearls before swine. Do not give what is holy to the dogs.
opera is pseud af and the tickets are way too expensive, atleast where i live
lots of poor people goes to museums tho
Sorel was not a fascist though
He who knoweth the reader, doeth nothing more for the reader. Another century of readers—and spirit itself will stink.
Every one being allowed to learn to read, ruineth in the long run not only writing but also thinking.
First we need to get rid of gangster rap and similar forms of anti-intellectualism. Also, more Ukrainian military bands dancing to Evangelion.
>Ebonics
dae le wrong generation???
National Syndicalism went on to evolve into the fascist movement, along with ideologies like distributism, integralism and guild socialism.
Sorel was only one of the many influences that went into national syndicalism and even national syndicalism still was a large step away from fascism. (see Alceste De Ambris' and Gabriele D'Annunzio's vehement opposition to fascism.)
If you're interested in exact details I can really recommend Zeev Sternhell's "The Birth of Fascist Ideology". He goes into great detail on the role of Sorel's revisionist Marxism in the formation of fascist ideology.
That's high education, not high culture.
We can't even spread high culture to its advocates, every liberal proclaims their love of theatre yet hasn't ever attended a single show, It's just virtue signalling.
