Dirty dumb pedo scum.

I agree, that cover is pretty hot.

?

...

This unironically. I really really like this cat!

Kek. That's actually a pretty sick cover.

This. Also I don't speak Brazilian.

...

I roll my own ebooks with multiple covers
I've got a copy of The Recognitions with like six

my dream job is being a graphic designer for Wordsworth classics

>I don't speak Brazillian
Brazillian here.
My sides.

That's cool. What tablet do you use? I've thinking of getting one, maybe kindle fire.

I just use an old e-ink nook, or my phone

>Infinite Grace
Puts a different spin on it doesn't it?

First time I've seen this cover. I share with your sentiment now, OP.

>can only buy on amazon.britbong.cheerio

but /pol/ told me my country was the best...

fucking britbongs...

...

I have it. Back cover looks great as well and the text is annotated, which helps a lot with the historical references and such, but the way the pages are cut to resemble parchment or some shit is just awful (sorry, I'm an autistic third-worlder, I couldn't find a proper word for this way of cutting pages)
There's also a similar edition of Dubliners!

I prefer this one really.
Only seems to be on the German version tho.

Ignat Avsey's translation of Karamazov, titled The Karamazov Brothers, from Oxford World's Classics
(even though I already own several other translations, and I have Avsey's in digital form)

...

Graça can actually mean jest, as in, something is "engraçado", or funny

kek

I want to read this book, but I am afraid that my English skills might be to weak.

sounds better in spanish desu

Find A sexier cover

that's below average

the shitty font alone

see pic

I dig that cover, captures the feel of the book

Sorry, I meant to say I don't speak Brasileiro

White Noise is not difficult to read in terms of vocabulary or syntax. It has fantastic prose still, but you ought to do just fine

Lots of books are cut this way and I don't believe its just for the aesthethic. It is pretty beautiful to be honest and I liked this edition too, Knausgårds foreword was solid aswell. The introduction is shite though, overtly long and brings little of interest regardless of if you read it prior to the novel or afterwards.

The Dubliners one looks great though and I'd love to read it with extensive annotations. Really appreciated the annotations for Portrait. I actually gave that edition of Dubliners to my mother but she hasn't gotten around to it yet

what the fuck is this adventure time ass shit

Anyone else unironically own this?

...

fuck off with that gay naruto shit. id be ashamed to have that book

yes

I bought a second copy of Portrait just to get this cover. Totally worth it, the colors are fucking cool. Also that made me want to read it again which was interesting because I saw it in a totally different light.

Is it any good?

no

I don't watch anime and not everybody does. Only your autistic brain would relate it to Naruto.

This is one of my favorite covers

It would be a perfect edition if it didn't have FUCKING DECKLED EDGES

Wait a minute, isn't this just a snazzed up version of that overused painting of some explorer type guy standing on top of a mountain?

(I still like it tho)

y

FUCK ME I just ordered this its too nice looking. i have the dubliners one and I adore it.

>PV
lmaooo

I still can't tell why they do this on modern books, is it the aesthetic or what, because all it does it make the pages harder to turn for me

It's good, it's literally just the 2 Alice novels in their original text with some kawaii LN images

Finally someone commenting on an actual book and not just a cover

For some reason I laughed at it just nonchalantly being there between Borges and Bolano.

>BRs got this while in Portugal we got this generic shit
It's just not fair

>Infinite Piety
that's a whole new ball game isn't it?

Literally fuck off.

finally got to reading it last month
>dat ending
WEW LAD

awful cover

weeb trash

>literally
>getting triggered by somebody enjoying a book cover
lol

So it's in LN format, not in manga format?

dis

that's a big book

...

4u.

What works does it have?

All.

But it's much much more than that if that's what you're bargaining for

yeah, it also includes everything Shakespeare didn't write

Yes, when I say original text I mean bona-fide original text by Lewis Carroll

Norton is the sex really. I have the old two volume edition.

Still my favourite.

>piety
not what that word means at all, piada=joke

Now that's a fucking cover.

katsuhiro otomo drew it?

What's wrong with P&V? I normally read Garnett.

>Thicker than los detectives
Wut

amazon.com/Lord-Rings-Set-Trilogy-Silmarillion/dp/B001LOQCH4/

550 dollars but it would be nice to pass that on as an heirloom.

of course; it was a reference to

tacky as fuck brah

It's manga, so most of it is drawing.

>nice to pass that on as an heirloom.

First work on passing on those genes son.

Don't buy stuff like this Easton Press edition. They're designed to appeal to people who want to feel superficially sophisticated. You'd be better off getting an early printing. That's actually cool.

I bought this because I have no self-control. It's beautiful.
