Greentext the plot of your novel

Greentext the plot of your novel
>Doomsday prepper spends a few months in a bomb shelter after nuclear blast
>Multiple groups fighting for power
>kaleidoscopic wasteland, everyone's insane
>Main character kind of wanders around and meets people and shit

Sounds like shit

Fuck you, you're gay

this is the greatest thread ever

You are gay and your novel is gay.
I write pretentious schock, but at least I'm not proud of it.
Your plot is more suited for a video game than a book, and I presume that is where you "got" your inspiration from (more like "stole")
Not a single unique selling point that would elevate it above a 3$ bargain bin title.Because that is what it is.Feces for the plebs

>our hero finds out he's fag one night in brooklyn
>lives awhile in SF before moving to Paris
>gets a girlf but meets another dude and starts fucking him while she's away
>they move in together
>girlf comes back from trip and man lover kills his boss for shits
>man lover put to death, hero says 'fuck europe' and moves home

So what books have you written, user?

>protagonist runs a "problem solving" agency in 1920's NY, he can solve anything
>some old millionaire asks him to recover something that was taken
>using detective skills tries to find the man who took it and chases him all the way to Egypt
>all the while we find out about the detective, and the discovery for the reason the thing was stolen

It's not even the real maltese falcon

Sounds like a CGDCT anime.

rocks fall, everyone dies

holy fuck that sounds zany. How do you come up with this stuff?

>main character crashlands on an uncharted planet
>finds out it is inhabited by a species of chimp-like creatures
>they speak using only one word
>that word is redpill

We are talking about your writing here, not mine.

Had a great unexpected kek

>A boy emerges from an underground facility in the desert, with no memory beyond himself climbing a ladder, fleeing something terrible
>The boy has an AI implanted in the back of his head, which names itself Val
>Val informs the boy that his sole objective is to keep him alive and to get him to civilization...wherever that may be
>They proceed into the desert, fleeing from the terrible thing that destroyed the underground facility

sound familiar

>John Green, in order to continue his great work, jumps into the Quantum Leaper
>he now must live as other great writers, fixing with his talents their downfalls and enriching humanity across time
>he comes to realize that his diminishes his own stature as a writer, with his past self and great works gradually looking more and more derivative
>he leaps into the body of David Foster Wallace and cannot or more likely does not want to fix The Pale King, and just repeatedly kills himself
>ends up writing the perfect suicide note and leaps out. That's right, DFW was never meant to finish the Pale King, Green was only there to rewrite that half baked note
>in his final leap Green seems to have made it back to his own life, only now he looks older and everyone keeps calling him Jonathan Franzen
>Jonathan Franzen never existed in the original timeline

Val is the thing that did it and wants to destroy civilisation because it's a poorly imagined SF novel with a bad twist. 'grats.

It's GOOD!

>literally Fallout

Really nigga

Nah its gonna be more like dhalgren

>his best friend (Jim) doesn't know how to deal with it.
>Jim decides to take him on a road trip to see Prince.
>Dean's condition worsens and his connection to reality weakens and he experiences strange hallucinations.
[Spoiler]>Dean and Prince die at the end

>a priest with supposedly paranormal abilities works for the Lutheran churches internal investigations
>may or may not find a conspiracy involving exorcism and bicameralist mind control
>paranoia and slapstick comedy ensues while he tries to uncover what may or may not be the biggest cover ups in our history
>also flat,- and hollow earth conspiracies, extreme environmentalists and something fishy about the burning of General Slocum

bump it

>man goes out to eat at a buffet
>ends up getting very sick and getting diahrrea
>he curses his life while he is on the toilet and is very angry
>decides to get revenge on the buffet
>he borrows a construction vehicle from his buddy bad bill
>enters the buffet with a variety of tools disguised as a construction worker and weasels his way into the owners downstairs office
>the owner is a huge fat disgusting slob
>the man beats him to death after a brief chat about food quality
>the man attempts to leave quickly without alerting anyone to what he'd done

>the man does as he is told, the alien begins to reform
>as they are driving away they can several aliens chasing them at high speed
>bad bill hands the man several copies of infinite jest
>"only meme books can vanquish them for good"
>queue long action scenes and struggles of bad bill and the man to defeat all the aliens with meme books
>bad bill dies but reveals hes had a gay crush on the man for a long time before he dies
>the man survives and defeats the aliens

>Donald Trump's biography

Chuck Palahniuk..?

>Dude wakes up in a bathtub full of Ice
> MADDAFAKKIN GYPSIES STOLE ONE KIDNEY!!
> Dude grabs a baseballbat and starts hunting down the gypsies
> Actually gets distracted and hunts down a lot of modern shitheads he hates, like nu-males and salafists

Its basically a poorly veiled /pol/- version of Michael Kohlhaas

>Three research doctors looking for cure of a disease
>They realize the disease became more prevalent during certain world political and social climates
>Eventually start connecting the dots to a conspiracy
>They catch themselves alone in the middle of a shitstorm with paper umbrellas

Band of brothers but it's set during the great Australia Emu War

It's gonna be the next big meme novel.

>MC has the magic ability which involuntarily controls the opposite sex's charisma, by physical contact. Just like in my japanese harem animes!
>Instead of enjoying things, MC was actually traumatized with women due to his abusive past with his sisters who kept bullying him to the point of near-death. Also, there are supernatural enemies, girls with magicks that are automatically ebil because of some secret mind control shadow-boss.
>When MC touches the Magic Girls, they lose their power and MC out-mindcontrols them over the mind control of shadow-boss.
>Fights happen, everyone dies left and right, including most of his supposedly harem members.
>By the end, MC is all alone and friendless.

Que in the sequel.

>Set in a different universe, new MC, this time, female.
>She becomes a Magic Girl, but she's not automatic evil because this is in a different universe.
>FeMC teams up with other Magic Girls to fight baddies.
>Things go horribly wrong, her team dies left and right, until there's only 3 of them left in the world.
>BIG BADDIES(Monsters) decide to magic-nuke the world and destroy all humans. The only survivors are the 3 magic girls. Humanity is doomed, the only humans left are 3 females. No males.
>The two others come up with a plan to send feMC into another dimension, one parallel to theirs, in order to at least save one of them. FeMC was chosen to be saved since only the two others have the ability to send her to another dimension, costing their lives.
>Story ends. FeMC is the only living human left from her world. But she gets sent to a different dimension.
>There, she meets the MC of the previous story.

Que in final sequel.

>The two MCs team up and do shit together to stop the villain from FeMC's dimension.
>They succeed.
>But even more people died in the process.
It's a fucking Web Novel that I'm currently writing and posting on Royal Road

>A Icelandian scientist and tinkerer, Yim Wyrdson, accidentally invents the Wyrdson device, which can block quantum tunneling
>Nobody really understands how it works
>The corporations make Wyrdson the richest man in the existence, just so they can use this device
>The device is used to manufacture progressively more powerful computer chips
>The computing power made available by this is beyond compare
>making AI is now easy, given the zero need for efficiency
>new AIs are used to make themselves more efficient
>humanity achieves cold fusion
>Dyson swarm projected built by 2045
>Earth can suddenly make everything it needs, so efforts to colonise Mars and such temporarily relent
>Meanwhile, by 2027, famine is eliminated, and most people dont need to do any actual work (though many opt to do non-techincal stuff, educating themselves in art and humanities, since that is all that is left)
>In 2030, the Earth goes dark
>all Wyrdson devices cease to function
>Out of the 18 Billion people on earth, 15Billion die in less than two years
>In the chaos of all this, our hero, an immigrant from one of the last poor countries, sets off to find Wyrdson in his mansion, rumoured to be hidden in the depths of Mojave Desert

>corrupt as fuck, hyper capitalistic world (think 90s Russia but worse)
>MC is a pacifistic kid who joins alternate universe version of Romanian mafia to keep a friend out of trouble
>said friend wants to become a cop and sees it as betrayal
>few years later
>MC worked his way up to underboss due unconventional methods
>sent to private school by the boss who wants to shape him into future right-hand man for his idiot son, also befriends the older daughter , who's a student that doesn't want anything to do with the business of her father
>she finds out that MC collects evidence against the organization
>wacky HS problems slash crime drama slash adventures slash slice of life ensue
>then MC crushes on a girl whose family gets slowly ruined by debts and the consequences
>obviously she kills herself during a date in the end blaming it all on him

City of God, Harry Potter and The Departed with a sprinkle of Brazil. Don't worry, I won't forget you after I make that John Green money, Veeky Forums

>guy leases a spaceship he can't afford
>guy gets a job he isn't qualified for so he can pay for his new wings
>finds a shiny mystical artifact
>massive plot convolution
>steals an AI
>uses AI and artifact to unlock a galactic portal
>goes through portal, eventually they go back to earth (most important planet is Venus tho)
>"Hey guess what guys, YOU are the ancient extinct race - and you just woke up the thing that wiped you out,"
>extinctioner on their tail, they go back through galactic portal but have their homies 9/11 it before beasty goes through
>galaxy falls apart (hinted at in news headlines, random chatter, basically entire story)
>plot takes a laxative and shits the bed
>at the end, they go to the center of the galaxy to a halo-esque universe control facility, and stop beastie by blowing it up

6 books of cancer

please write this

In the research phase at the moment. I'm really excited about it.

Soft sci-fi setting.

>An oncoming asteroid is going to impact the Earth, so large that it will change surface conditions to an inhospitable state for an unknown period of time.
>A privileged few go into protected cryogenic stasis, the technology being perfected at this point but still extremely expensive.
>Those considered "important" have their minds uploaded into robotic forms, better to endure the new surface conditions.
>The rest of humanity get underground as best they can, 95% will not survive.

Not so much the plot as the prologue I suppose.

If I were a gypsy I'd drug people and put a small incision in their side, but not take any organs, then sew them up just so they would run to the doctor screaming "THEY TOOK MAH KIDNEY!". When they examine the patient, they find that nothing is missing, and they'll hear my lulz all the way from the countryside.

Interesting, but it's got some major plotholes. If our tech has evolved that far I'm pretty sure there would be colonies elsewhere in the solar system by then. It seems that it's going to be almost a certain possibility in the next few decades.

It's more about the character rather than story, but i'll try.
>MC lives in a small town of 1850 California during the gold rush
>She's been living alone for 7 years now. She lived with only her sister for 17 years prior, until she married and left.
>She involves herself in a bank robbery where she meets 2 siblings. She desperately tries to protect them. Robbers get caught.
>She witness the unity of the siblings reminding herself how she was when she lived with her sister.
>She invites both of the kids to her place.
>One of the criminals followed her and confronts her. He tortures her until she's about to break.
>The villain reveals he was sent to get something from the MC. His boss was MC´s brother in law and the kids are his children.
>MC's sister sent the kids to escape to her sister.
>The MC's love interest comes to the rescue, but gets beaten.
>One kid distracts the villain while everyone else gangs up on him. Villain is defeated.
>1 week later, everyone recovers and MC decides to take the kids, just like her sister did with her.
Plus some mental power elements that helps the plot move forward.

Dan Brown already wrote that

not really though.

He will just have to provide an explanation as to why that vision never come to fruition in the book's universe.

urban explorer finds a real haunted house. falls in love with the ghost inhabiting it and tries to help cure her undeath. he fails in a depressing manner and leaves her there.

>There are 2 main characters
>3 if you counted God

>The story begins in Potenza, during Allied invasion of World War 2 Italy
>Young fascist couple abbandons son in a Catholic Monastery of Warrior Monks to fight off American soldiers
>A young American soldier kills the couple and participates in the battle against the Catholic Warrior Monks (who fight without weapon but with martial arts
>The American finds the baby, the sole survivor, and brings it with him in America and raises him like a son
>23 years later he manages a company where the baby, now a young man, works as employee
>POV switches to Rodolfo (the former baby) who discovers his boss Harry ordered his secretary to kill him
>The true story starts here, won't spoil the rest.

>Yim Wyrdson

Holy fuck that would actually be a fun Twist to my novel. Thanks man
