Just got in from a grocery trip a few hours ago.
Already have plenty of essentials (fruits, veg etc), so just picked up odds and ends. I bought:

parsley roots, 1 bunch (not sure the weight)
chestnuts, 4hg
courgettes/zucchine, 1kg
potato flakes, 4hg
half-and-half cream, 1l
tomato/chilli sauce (to make chilli crab this week)
fish sausage, 8hg
cooking butter, 9hg
butter for bread, 3hg
eggs, 25 large
doughnuts, 1dz
kohlrabi, about 3,5g
pasta shells, 3,5hg
fresh dough sheets for dumplings/stuffed pasta, 5hg (plan to stuff them with grated grana and dry ham to make tortellini)

We sometimes switch it up and have a themed grocery, themed as in we plan what we're doing like having a cookout or whatever. It usually always evens out to about 100%, so 25 dollars each.

Get a 5 or 10 lb bag of rice, you pussy. It'll last you 2 weeks to a month and leaves you room to break a pattern every once in a while to try something new.
