wtf is that real?????

I WAS GOING TO POST SOME BUT YOUR IMAGE SCARED ME SO MUCH I CAN'T REMEMBER THEM!

All Quiet on the Western Front is probably the most honest, but I also really like Tim O'Brien's stuff like In The Lake of the Woods.

The Iliad >novels mfw
Remarque ofc
Slaughterhouse-Five, although Vonnegut claimed it's the opposite also fight me

As real as Gumbi

Killer Angels
Song of Roland
The Aeneid
For Whom The Bell Tolls
All Quiet on the Western Front
Catch 22

read this years ago, but i remember it being pretty good

pressfield mainly writes motivational stuff for writers now

Is Remarque carry some of the same themes of the other two? It is the only one on that list I haven't read.

Slaughterhouse-Five is one of my favorites too, such an awesome book. Catch-22 is another great one

Just don't expect a clear narrative. It jumps around a lot, but that helps it achieve the feelings of absurdity and chaos that it's obviously trying to illustrate. It was Vietnam, after all.

Storm of Steel

>that le carre recommendation
Sold

>this

In parenthesis David Jones

harryhausen was the fucking boss

Red Badge of Courage

Dae have a PDF or epub of this?

>All Quiet On The Western Front
This. The film is also worth watching.

Schauen Mutti!
Ich habe das noch einmal gepostet!

Storm of Steel.

I have seen it been called "pro-war" a couple of times, but I don't really agree. It really shows of a lot of the horrors of the first world war.
