Going to get sushi today fellas, you jelly????
>pic fucking related

please don't be whole foods

You had better not be buying grocery store faux sushi. If you want sushi go to a good reputable restaurant and order some to go from there.

>not 7-11
Step your sushi game up OP.

7-11??? im not a fucking millionaire homey

Why would someone be jealous of something anyone can easily obtain

u h8 cuz u aint

Does anyone here make their own sushi?

Not a weeb but refrigerating the rice genuinely fucks up the texture entirely.

>Grocery store sushi

Congratulations, it's even worse than regular sushi

>Going to get sushi today fellas, you jelly????
>disgusting pre-packaged sushi
Not jealous at all, enjoy your garbage tier sushi.

My gas station has fresh sushi just like that. Shit is cash af but a bit pricey

Not even going to lie

I get pre-packaged sushi sometimes

It's fine, no worse than a roll from a sushi place, the rice quality takes a hit, but the flavors are there.

Sashimi is where it's at tho

just tried 7/11 sushi
ive had gas station sushi that are leagues better than it
and theyre about the same price

>no worse than a roll from a sushi place
You're going to some really shitty sushi places

I do, easy af

Look man I'm no snob, I don't care what you put in sushi or what you consider authentic or whatever the fuck... but eating sushi that's been sitting around for hours on end is Grade A Disgusting

>defending rolls

For fucks sake, rolls are babby tier garbage, they use the shitty fish for rolls every time

I bet you mix your wasabi and soy sauce too

AND THEN DIP YOUR ROLL IN IT....

...IN FRONT OF THE SUSHI MAN

Don't blame me because you go to a sushi bar so fucking awful that it's rolls are on par with grocery store crap

>Sashimi is where it's at tho
Please tell me you don't go to a sushi restaurant and let them triple the cost of unprocessed fish just by putting it on a plate for you.

>Star Market

Hello fellow Massfag

Poke bowls are far better than sushi

>Poke bowls
holy shit, why don't i have one of these in virginia...

I lived in VA for a few years. Wherever you are, at worst you're an hour or two away from a good poke place.

>White Rice
>Avocado
>Tamago
>Spicy

...

oh my god I need this so bad

This shit looks awesome, sadly there's nothing like that in my area

I noticed recently that Grilled Spicy Tuna has turned into Spicy Torched Tuna in pretty much every sushi place I have been to.

Why is this?

>unseasoned Pole sitting out in open air
Hawaii here, wtf are you doing?

*poke

Looks like it's in a refrigerated table to me.

better value for the price imo than getting rolls

Maybe you just go to really shitty grocery stores.

Is this from a chain? I don't think I've ever had poke but it sounds pretty interesting.

Cause you're in a fly over.

>Gas Station Sushi

Reading this gave me diarrhea

Harris Teeter marks up their sushi +150% compared to what it costs in restaurants. You would have to be really desperate or really retarded to buy sushi from there.

made sushi at home a couple of times. Not those crazy rolls and stuff cuz I don't keep mayo.

I mix wasabi and soy sauce there is nothing wrong with doing that. It is a meme that people care.

>Eating a product that is so shit that it shouldn't be eaten after only hours of refrigeration
wew lad

>Extra Fish Scoof for $1

It's a common and perfectly acceptable practice in Japan.
Only weebs make a fuss about it.

Yah. Hella easy and cheap.

I don't get it, how the fuck do people eat Sushi raw without getting sick? Aren't there parasites and shit in fish?

I've heard they use lime or something to kill them, but I just don't get why anyone would eat something raw.

freezing it kills parasites

How did they do it back in the day when there was no system of freezing it?

I don't get why you use your hands as your sexual partner either, but I didn't asked you that did I?

Texture more than taste. Watch Ramsay's video on shark fin soup.
"Sushi-grade" fish is frozen to kill any parasites that might be in the fish. That's the only difference.

For the taste, duh
There is Sushi-Grade raw fish that at least -should- be used

>Nachos
Wha the fuck am I reading?

they didnt and were full of parasites

Where can I get salmon and other fresh fish that I can use for sashimi?

Would Costco or other big supermarkets be ok?

Best to go to a fish market if there is one. If not, make sure the salmon has been frozen prior to eating raw. Other breeds of fish will require the same treatment because of parasites.

never heard of this before. Im in love but the closest place is 50 miles away from me. What is this suffering?
