I hope you do badly LAYYEMAO

(AunionB)'=A'intersectionB'

Tell us the questions to see how difficult it was.

[math] \{a\}\neq\{a,a_{{}^{{}^{{}_{\!.}}}} \} [/math]

How to make the product of an arbitrary number of sets

[eqn]\{x:x\not\in x\}[/eqn]

It's essential to know set theory.

Okay guys,

I think I aced it. Some sample questions were:

Prove 1+2+3+...+n=(n(n+1))/2

Is [a] o-plus [b] = [a+b] a well defined operation

Prove sqrt(2) is irrational

Prove de Morgan's law

kek what sort of exam is this

Intersection

Union

Cardinality

Powerset

Emptyset

1-1 Correspondence

>set theory
It looks like intro to proofs what the fuck.

>Cardinality
useless concept desu

We learn basic set theory but mostly proof methods in this class. It is to set us up for our advanced calc class.

Are you a George Mason student? I ask because only a few places have "advanced calc" in place of true real analysis.

What are large cardinals

Are you in third grade?

>set theory
Is this a joke?

>Prove 1+2+3+...+n=(n(n+1))/2
>Prove sqrt(2) is irrational
>set theory

What the fuck????

That has barely anything to do with set theory?

That it's pointless to try to assign names to every point on a spectrum

i can do these two proofs, never taken a class in '''set theory'''', physics major. Barely done any maths modules. Is maths a fucking meme subject?

>Is maths a fucking meme subject?
Not if you go to a non-meme uni/country.

We also have a set theory course, but these questions are settled in the first semester and have absolutely nothing to do with our "set theory" course which is more advanced math.

>Unions and Intersections are the only things I know about set theory
