>buy a fresh loaf of bread
>expiry date is 4 days after day I bought it
>have to eat a whole loaf of bread in half a week or it will go to waste
How do I get around this?
Buy a fresh loaf of bread
Other urls found in this thread:
Eat a quarter loaf per day
freeze it; only use it for toast
Put it in the freeze and use a toaster to defrost it
How long will it keep if I freeze it?
>make bread crumbs
>use as toppings for mac n cheese/some pasta dishes/whatever
>store in a jar
>will last weeks
>Alternatively, wrap and freeze half of it
>defrost when needed
>Fresh bread
>Has expiration date on it
Pretty much forever
Or at least longer than it'd take for you to eat it
I'd say no longer than a month but desu it won't go off for ages
For fucking ages.
Surprises me that this is alien to so many people but then again not really. I grew up in a single mum-only child household so there was no way the a small woman and a child would get through a loaf before it went stale.
i eat 8 pieces a day when not cutting. have two with each meal (breakfast honey; brunch peanut butter; lunch blt or something; dinner butter).
That's a dirty as fuck bulk
You can do better than that
You think that is dirty?
Hell I bulked on chuck roast pot roast and a roll of crescent rolls with butter at least 3 nights a week.
Easily had 1,500 calories in rolls/butter alone in addition to potatoes, carrots, other veg.. and a half pound of red meat.
Highly effective and Rip would have been proud.
Feed to the homeless.
Feed the extra to squirrels
if your last slices go stale just sprinkle some water on them and toast them in a toaster or the oven
or make French toast
>big gay fags
Wow user...
I was going to say: make it into peanut butter sandwiches and pass them out downtown.
You beat me to it.
Unexpected. Good on you mate.
Take it back dummy. Assuming you have the receipt grocery stores take food back all the time within reason, usually a week.
Its come in handy when asking dumb roommates to pick something up for me at the grocery store and they bring back visibly rotting food.
Bread pudding. Make that shit, then freeze that shit.
How about you check the date before buying?
bread and butter pudding
buy smaller loaves bruh, that shouldn't be a problem since you said fresh bread which means you're getting it at a bakery right? cause if you're gettin it from the grocery store it aint fresh and should last longer than that
go to a real bakery and buy half a loaf.
>honey; brunch peanut butter, butter
stop putting garbage on your bread.
put it in the fridge, it'll be fine for a few weeks.
