Is this what I get for purchasing a product? Guess I'm not destined to be an author of anything.

if you need to pay $40 to start woking on something, then you com on lit and cry about said product i can assure you with 100% confidence that you'll either fail at what you're going to do or you'll suck at it so bad not even you will appreciate the "work" you've done

>paying 40 bucks to write
You just got meme'd.

>buying software

you're the type of guy that no matter what you'll never write.

>I don't have the right software
>I don't have the right keyboard
>I don't have the write notebook
>but now I don't have enough time
>I'm not sitting comfortable enough

This, t b h. Unless you have some sort of crippling disability just get a cheap notebook and a pen.

Is this a meme or are there people who really write with pen and paper? After half a page I feel cramps in my hand. Besides, how are you going to do corrections or move pieces around? And you will still have to type it if you want to publish it in any way. It seems stupid.

>Is this a meme or are there people who really write with pen and paper?
It's a total meme, no one has ever written with a pen and paper in the history of mankind.

But the poor fuckers didn't have computers. What's the excuse for doing it now, except for hipstering?

>buying software to write

>meme
>do corrections

I... I don't know what is bait anymore.

>move pieces around
>pieces
>pieces [of paper]

>move pieces [of paper] around

Because, with good planning, the piece you must move always start/end exactly on one page

Asimov wrote his stories long hand. It's what made his shilling TRS computers so funny.

>I'll never use a typewriter again!
Dude you never used them before.

nah, just use scissors

Scissors are the things that look like the cut symbol on the computer btw

What's your typing speed in wpm? Now look up wpm of gregg or pitman shorthand.

But user, what about the paste tool?

Get some paperclips and ask them for help.

once again
I hear of somebody who is going to
settle down and
do their work,
painting or writing or whatever,
as soon as they get a better light installed,
or as soon as they move to a new
city,
or as soon as they play comeback from the trip they
have been planning
or as soon as . . .

it’s simple: they just don’t want
to do it,
or they can’t do it,
otherwise they’d feel a burning
itch from hell
they could not ignore
and “soon”
would turn quickly into
“now”

>using XP
Jesus user

Experience points?

>Is this a meme
Yes. Standard luddite pseuds.

I pirated scrivener and didn't have this problem. I wrote maybe three things in it then went back to open office because you spend less time dicking about with pointless notation features.

XP was the last good Windows.

Holy shit, OP has to wait a whole day

I do.
Like wtf? what year is it?

>virtual paper
>virtual pen
>virtual corkboard
>virtual index cards
I can think of a better way of spending 40 septims, m8

Unsure if bait or retard. Am assuming both. Microsoft word or libreoffice will do you fine. Or LaTeX if you're more mathematically inclined.

That's funny, I use Scrivener regularly (for writing, taking notes and for sorting my reading/study lists) and I didn't even know you had to pay. I don't remember pirating it.

It's called not being a lazy faggot. If you're worried so much about how hard transcribing, correcting, and editing will be before you even have anything to transcribe, correct, or edit, odds are you'll never have the motivation to write anything longer than a short story at best.
