So, I just found out that Jimmy Carter was responsible for lifting the prohibition on home brewing.

Thanks Jimmy!

That was the only thing the stupid fuck got right during his entire four-year term, too.

we could use a man like him again, to be honest

Everyone knows no one on this board was alive during his presidency. You sound like a retard spouting off shit you heard your mom and dad regurgitate.

Home brewing is legal.
Freeze jacking is fine.
Distilling is not because boom boom asplosions and people gettin' blind from your party liquor.

I don't know where you got that wacky idea because until @ 2 years ago it was still illegal to homebrew wine or beer in MS. Of course we brewed anyway, but at least now it's legal.

Jimmy was a good man, too good for DC.

He just did it to help his alchie brother out

Clueless buffoon that wrecked the economy? A peanut farmer for president, that was so unpopular that the country went entirely red the next election?

please, have a cup of coffee and get your thoughts in order before you continue to embarrass yourself

Based Jimmy.

Everything he said was true.

Still better than Trump.

Only because he pushed the entire country further to the right.

Carter was a competent executive hamstrung by a literal conspiracy on the part of Reagan and an American public unwilling to make sacrifices for the sake of longterm improvement. His forward-thinking energy policy alone makes him better than his senile, treasonous successor.

Carter kind of highlights a lot of the problems with representative democracies when bad times happen.

You can't have any sort of long term plan for the country if it requires sacrifices in the short term because you'll just get voted out after four years because nobody likes the short term problems.

Reagan was a hack that you only like because of literally 30 years of propaganda. Same reason you like Trump. Literally everybody else sees them both for what they are: incompetent, senile manchildren being paraded around by the actual adults who do everything.

>he single handedly ruined the beer industry by making the pretense open and clear the grounds to allow micro breweries to develop

Fuck this faggot, and fuck all the hipsters who drink micro brew, IPAs and any other numale hipster non mainstream beer

>ree why do people like what I don't like reeee
Kill yourself you fucking cuck. If you want tasteless swill fine but don't force it on the rest of us.

I remember when he lost to regan.
My liberal family was as assblasted as they are this year.

Wrong, friendo. This is Veeky Forums, not /a/. I was very much alive and aware of what a mess the country was in under him.

Whatever you say, kiddo.

We must be the oldest people here

>t.retarded autistic normie faggot who sips expensive IPAs

I like Reagan for the same reasons I like Trump: both are competent leaders who are trying to strengthen the economy and straighten out years of insane misrule by Democrat scumbags.

Could be. I'm 58. But I remember reading a thread on /b/ a couple of years ago where some user said he was a 77 year old who ran a web forum for homemade porn.

Not to mention both of them have Alzheimer's

sad but true

>State with the lowest education and takes the most money from the government was behind the rest of the US in legalizing something

shocking

Ironically, they were the third state to legalize casino gambling along the Mississippi river and coast.

alright dunp ass, who were the "actual adults who do everything" of the reagan presidency? baker? volcker? regan? fucking edwin meese?

inb4 nondescript, never-identified corporate types

why would you lie on the internet?

>mfw pics show Reagan was falling asleep during cabinet meetings
