Matter can be neither created nor destroyed

>Matter can be neither created nor destroyed.

Then where did the matter come from?

> there isn't any really

>Matter can be neither created nor destroyed.
>Matter

The big Battery!

e=mc^2

He is partially correct. Matter is a form of energy brainlet.

From an incommensurate source of Dielectricity.

Space.

>He still believes we live in reality with set rules and physical laws
>He didn't realize we live in a dream of a god where anything can happen and nothing really matters

it's virtual

Jesus

Energy is matter. So energy turned into the matter we have today.

>Where did the energy come from?

WELL

It was just there as there was no time in our universe before the big bang, for it to come from somewhere it would imply some sort of causality, and with time not existing, no causality (at least in the way we understand it), with no causality, no need for all the matter/energy to come from somewhere.
Kek, might as well be.

Matter can be created and destroyed dummy. Its energy that cant be created or destroyed. However tjat doesn't mean its not hard to create or destroy matter. To create matter you just have to hit empty space with enough energy which turns the 0 into a 1 and -1, or matter and anti-matter. To destroy matter you have to hit filled space with enough energy.

Or you could just put anti-matter near matter and they'll cancel eachother out and disperse as energy

what would it feel like to touch anti-matter

It would feel like your mom.

it doesn't really matter

Assuming you're touching it in perfect vacuum, the moment the particles comprising your hand touch it, it would produce a nuclear explosion of the kind we can't even imitate with fission and fusion bombs.

Thor

Wow I think you are on to something!

I feel like this is just a cop-out.

of course it is
any possible explanation is a cop out when there is literally no way of knowing

>Muh phase change
>Muh Planck epoch
>Muh no global conservation of energy in GR.

It would be extremely painful...

Sorta like silly putty, but glowier and squishier.

That came from God.

kind of like putting your hand in a glass of room temperature liquid except inside out

Matter and energy is interchangeable

However matter is lost to energy due to entropy

like putting your hand in a bag full of salty coins and milk

Like bags of sand
