Also a circle

But I thought a circle is supposed to give a torus?

Consider basic coordinate systems before posting dumb shit like this.

a line
:^)

This is inconsistent.
A circle rotated around produces a sphere, sure. But then a square rotated around produces a cylinder, not a cube.
Now you can make a cube from a square by stretching it out of the plane, but then a circle would produce a cilinder, not a sphere.

...

This is the answer I was looking for. I love you.

this is so thoughtless its rotting my brain wondering who posts this

...

there's zero connection between the first and second row

A line and a point.

There is a connection

Circle = a shape which consists of an infinite amount of points, each point being an equal distance from the center.

Sphere = same exact definition.

learn to read

learn about cartesian products then come back you brainlet.
circle by circle = sphere
square by square = cube
circle by square = cylinder.

>circle by circle = sphere
[math]B_{R_{A_{I_{N_{L_{E_{T}}}}}}} B_{R_{A_{I_{N_{L_{E_{T}}}}}}} B_{R_{A_{I_{N_{L_{E_{T}}}}}}} B_{R_{A_{I_{N_{L_{E_{T}}}}}}} B_{R_{A_{I_{N_{L_{E_{T}}}}}}} [/math]

It looks like you are a [math]B_{R_{A_{I_{N_{L_{E_{T}}}}}}^{A^{I^{N^L{E^T}}}}}^{R_{A_{I_{N_{L_{E_{T}}}}}}^{A^{I^{N^L{E^T}}}}}[/math] m8

Circle by circle gives a donut

1. circle by circle is a torus, not a sphere
2. fucking kill yourself

circle by straight line = pipe

A rectangle. that cylinder can't be created by spinning a square the dimensions are off.

also cylinder = circle by a line segment. circle by square is a "pointy torus".
you're fucking retarded

also this is probably the correct "IQ test answer" in it's own stupid way. it's making sense of a problem that doesn't really make sense.

semicircle by semicircle = satellite dish?

also square by square is not at all a cube.
you're fucking retarded.

MODS!
why doesnt it render?

because you're a brainlet just like the guy you quoted

ahah oh wow, look at this turbot brainlet, can't even render basic [math]LaTeX[/math]

jesus christ this board really is the worst

there is nothing wrong with the code. put it in [math]\LaTeX[/math].
The problem is with this image board.

[math]B_{R_{A_{I_{N_{L_{E_{T}^{T}}^{ET}}^{LET}}^{NLET}}^{INLET}}^{AINLET}}^{R^{A^{I^{N^{L^{E^{T}_{T}}_{ET}}_{LET}}_{NLET}}_{INLET}}_{AINLET}}[/math]

This.

rotate a rectangle or a circle around the y axis and you get a cylinder and a sphere, respectively.

There isn't a bijection between 2 dimensional shapes and 3 dimensional shapes. A cylinder is made up of a rectangle and two circles. It isn't based on a single 2 dimensional shape.

One of those is not like the others and it's not the one you think. (Look up rotation solids.)

surprise surprise, you fucking moron
