What's your favorite kind of salad? Pic related is mine

Mesclun with duck confit on it. Ceasar with chicken on it is good as well.

Caprese salad

Waldorf salad.

Any answer other than ceaser is wrong

>salad with no ranch
blew it

>Implying ranch is better than ceaser dressing

Double Dubs confirms Waldorf Master Race.

Get in line all other salads (except fruit salad).

You disgust me

>unironically enjoying the taste of buttermilk

>cheese and tomato is a salad

look up the definition of salad, flyover

caesar with roastbeef or chicken. that or caprese.
also i recently made a really simply and delicious tomatosallad

>eating Caprese with mozzarella instead of buratta
>I'm the uncultured one

Romaine, feta, olives, tomatoes, with very light amount of dressing (olive oil and balsamic vinegar)

Whatever greens and fruits like tomatoes, cucumbers and green peppers and root vegetables like carrots, radishes and green onions are in season in my area. Sometimes supplemented with foraged dandelion, lambs quarter, plantains, etc. I don't eat out of season vegetables unless I preserved them by freezing or canning and those won't make a salad. So I only eat salads about 6 months out of the year. Feels good man. Fuck that high carbon footprint turning the earth into a gas chamber.

How is that enjoyable?

by having good ingredients, obviously. haven't you ever had good quality tomatoes and mozzarella?

ALL SALAD.
I fucking love the stuff.
Only salad I've hated was 1 salad with anchovies.
I've had like 1000 amazing salads before and since.
Best is bacon and chicken and croutons.

Well I think we just ran out of waldorfs.

>foraged dandelion

German potato salad.
I'm on a diet though so for me it's a head of iceberg lettuce and half a jar of salsa. (about 200 calories)

...

I'll give you anons a tip.
I discovered this years ago and I can't go back to eating regular salads ever since.
put pic related crumbled up instead of croutons, you'll thank me later.
even better with sunflower seeds.

why would i choose those over croutons that i did myself?

I'm with you OP.

A good caesar, chicken, bacon, parmesan cheese, lettums, caesar dressing, croutons.

Yeah, because it's trash. Get better taste.

Leaf lettuce, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms & onions with garlic fried in butter, tuna, olive oil, and some organic salsa.

>Veeky Forums unironically believes that any salad not drowned in a mayonnaise-based dressing is automatically trash
The classic Greek salad is the Citizen Kane of salads. It has all of the necessary elements for a great salad with nothing unnecessary: freshness and texture from the cucumber, sweetness from the tomato, richness from the olive, saltiness and umami from the feta, pungency from the onion and the subtle aromas of oregano and extra virgin olive oil as a finishing touch. There is nothing you could add to a Greek salad to make it better, nor is there anything that you could take away. Only someone who's only ever had an americanized "Greek" salad with lettuce, cow's milk "feta" and disgusting faux balsamic vinegar could show disrespect to the noble χωριάτιkη.

>anyone foraging wild plants is a hipster numale
>hunter gatherer cultures foraged all their fruits and vegetables
>ergo, hunter gatherer peoples were hipster numales.

Damn, you are one shining beacon of stupidity.

Citizen Kane sucks.

Gosh dangit you're autistic.

I like Greek, but you are overreacting.

Chicken, prunes and mayonnaise.

How are you meant to gather seasonings if you dont forage you silly monkey?
