But it's been determined that i'm not a determinist

But perhaps it has been determined you will change your mind

Are you serious?

Only a lefty can ask for the worst of two worlds

Are you niggers serious? This shouldn't be allowed on Veeky Forums, seriously

DUDE IT'S ALL LIKE .... THE GOD-UNIVERSE !!!
Seriously embarassing, Heisenberg and Alexandre Koyré are spinning in their graves
Irregardless of if the universe is or is not determinmentable, I don't see what it matters.
m-muh Hume!

t. Thinks Hamiltonians are just big fans of American history
the Schrodinger equation evolves deterministically
I have no idea what that means, but it sounds like it'd be a (misplaced) argument for my position, not against it.
I'm not sure what you're getting at, but the Schrodinger equation is solved to give you a wavefunction that is most useful physically when made into a probability distribution.
lol
If I'm a determinist, why would I even discuss it with someone? They have no choice in the matter of whether they are or not.
Even if an element of reality (such as a random event) does not follow from any intermediate cause, it still must follow from the First Cause by definition.
Otherwise:
Explain to me what saying that something is "possible" actually means in terms of things, if it does not merely mean "I don't know whether it is the case or not".
I'm not the guy you possibly think I am. I just thought this thread needed someone with an undergrad understanding of qm to clear up bullshit.
I have no clue who anyone is, tripping is rare and dangerous.
>he isn't a solipsist

reality is probabilistic formed from top down recursion
My brain made Sammy?
