Skin care is the trickiest one because for some reason people seem to react very differently to a same treatment. You need an almost scientific approach to it, changing variables and seeing how they affect you.
But basically,

You need to research a lot, I could write a ton just on this topic. Check out Deciem's The Ordinary line and while I know that people don't like Reddit on Veeky Forums, Asian Beauty is a pretty good one about Korean and Japanese skincare products. The info there is pretty legit, although it being Reddit they do tend to like meme products a lot.

For fashion, before anything follow some basic rules. Never wear wrinkly clothes, always make sure your clothes fit, and match belts and socks to jeans, pants or shoes. Then learn about contrast, for example if you have brown hair and very palid skin, clothes with strong constrast will look better ok you, such as a dark tee and a light jacket. There are guides for those things online. You should first build a wardrobe with basic items, plain jeans, tees, shirts, etc. you know the kind of things that you will ever use no matter your style. Then get a good haircut, and get some accessories. Sunglasses, bracelets and such make you look stylish. Then it's a matter of finding an style, I guess the biggest ones on the west right now are preppy, streetwear, menswear aka dad core and Saint Laurent rockstar (Hedi slimane era).

For cooking, I hate bullshit like Martha steward and all those magazine or tv cook shows. I learned most from a YouTube channel called CookingInRussia. It's a very experienced chef (not Russian but living there) who tells you like it is, he doesn't treat you like an idiot and explains everything very well.
