It was wicked easy. I made about half portion of this recipe for me and a couple of other people.

OP - rosemary would be too strong if you put it on the cheese, wouldn't it? Besides - did you mention your sauce once? You just said "the most amazing marinara". That is a huge component of any good cheese pizza, let alone "the BEST".

Sweet! Thanks very much. Did it turn out more moist like a banana bread normally is (when it isn't dry) or more cake-y? My mom makes a zucchini bread that is dense and moist and I'm just trying to envision how that might compare.

It was moist and kindof airy. Not very dense.

I do too, and obviously no one reached through Veeky Forums to slap tomato slices on his pizza, but it was supposed to be a plain cheese.

I am not sure I follow. You burned it? It's burning you? The rosemary burned? It looks great either way. But did you make your own marinara or did you buy some jarred sauce?

I made everything from scratch.
The basil burns if you put it first, I like to use basil to finish the pizza, along with some olive oil, once its cooked.

the advantage of making your own marinara sauce is you can keep experimenting with it to see what you like when you make it and you can make it however you want every single time
