Your avocados aren't even close to ripe.

Holy cow that avocado is too ripe. It won't taste very good. Kinda sour. A good rule of thumb is a dark skin, a tad squishy, and if you move the little nub on top and see green you should be good.

Cut the avacado in half and remove the seed. Then cut each half in half so you have quarters. Once down to quarters you should be able to peel the skin right off.

Because of images like this, every time avocados come up in casual conversation i make sure everyone knows how to properly seed an avocado.
