They're all doing, except RSS which died last year

yes

Is the dish at Camp Hero, Montauk, pointed directly west toward NYC, part of HAARP or something else?

memes aside, I find this very interesting, wonder what they have actually done in this facility. supposedly they use a shit ton of energy on those towers.

The site was bought by the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and is no longer owned by the US military.

Not that this mattered, because it's a bunch of radio towers...

The reason they say it controls the weather is because they say it microwaves a huge part of the atmosphere. I think this is suppose to make the atmosphere expand upwards. Just a note, exact opposite of HAARP is a giant hole in the ozone layer. It's possible it's changing the shape of the atmosphere causing all the O-Zone to collect over HAARP and move away from the side of the planet opposite of HAARP, which happens to be Australia.

I'm not even going to pretend any of this is true as I don't know anything about the science, but this is the conspiracy theory taht's being floated around. Can we get an open minded smart person in here to say weather any part of this is even remotly theoretically possible?

wow thanks for the skin cancer HAARP

On Veeky Forums? Hello newfag.

What was once advanced technology is now mundane. After taking a two semester undergraduate course in modern physics it was obvious that weather control is feasible. I think chemtrails are particles that absorb ata specific wavelength and then they transmit that frequency from a geographically extended array of antennae to steer the chemtrail doped air. If they admitted this there would be abig problem though because the people where the rain would have gone will have a pretty decent complaint against the people where the rain did end up going.

It was built to study the Ionosphere by bouncing radio waves off it. If I recall correctly most of the research done there is publicly available. It's just really boring and also beyond the understanding of most brainlets.

It's a meme.

>sekret governmunt faceelity?
>or abandoned umbrella yard?

It's an old early warning radar. Nothing special.

People can't even accept that human behavior and gene expression can be influenced via pulsed microwave and ELF, do you really expect an intellectually honest substantive discussion to arise?

Maybe there'll be some signal to parse out, but it's always mostly noise.

OK, it is now more than clear that you guys need to go discuss this on/x/

>tfw slowly running out of IP's

Do radio waves have enough energy to influence global weather patterns?

No.

>He doesn't understand voltage gated calcium channels, and the structure of their voltage sensing subunits
>He hasn't read the US and Societ literature dating back to the 60's concerning biological effects of static and pulsed microwave fields at thermal and subthermal frequencies
>His knowledge of physics and molecular biology is either at a high school level, or disjointedly biased by his cultural environment

Ironically, it's you who belongs on /x/. You're more or less arguing for something akin to solipsism, parallel reality, or a global conspiracy.
-Expose cell (especially L-type VGCC expressing sort) to pulsed microwave field
-Measure calcium flux
-Note immediately increased intracellular calcium
-Apply VGCC blocker
-All noted downstream effects do no longer occur

This has been repeatedly demonstrated in a number of ways, for decades. And we know a lot about calcium regulated signalling pathways. People who use Wi-Fi, bluetooth, cell phones, whatever, are either ignorant or completely insane.

- Surface wave
The radio signal spreads out from the transmitter along the surface of the Earth. Instead of just travelling in a straight line the radio signals tend to follow the curvature of the Earth. This is because currents are induced in the surface of the earth and this action slows down the wave-front in this region, causing the wave-front of the radio communications signal to tilt downwards towards the Earth. With the wave-front tilted in this direction it is able to curve around the Earth and be received well beyond the horizon.

Couldn't wide-range surface inductions affect the weather?

Dynamic shared pool of IPs or are you being naughty?

no. HAARP doesn't have nearly enough energy to have a meaningful effect.

now if you put a mylar mirror in space, the size of a small city. You could focus sunlight in specific spots and cause changes.

You can create a standing wave oscillation that can grow in power using only a small amount of power each time. You essentially use the medium as a storage device kind of like a flywheel or porch swing. Of course, it can only reach a certain level of power, but that power will be much more than the single signal or "push".
