Scientifically speaking, how do I stay awake?

Two cups of coffee don't work and I'm afraid more will make me feel ill.
I woke up at 11 AM today and I'd like to push 24 hours.

keep yourself busy, eat healthy, protein-rich foods on top of vitamins/minerals. get plenty of exercise and your stamina will increase

don't fap either, that's a surefire way to fall asleep

I reach a certain point when there's no motivation to do anything else beside sleeping.

I am sure these would work for not just a night but for a whole week.

I've done 40, (the last two were to break my previous record of 38), it was hell.

I didn't feel ok for about two days...

What did you do during that time?
Was it drug fueled?

Have your morning coffee, then supplement throughout the day with espresso.

I had two espressos yesterday at 11 PM and fall asleep a few hour later daydreaming on my couch.

I drink more than 7 cups of coffee each day.
However I still feeling sleepy & tired through the day.

24h seriously? who can't do that? too easy if you take it easy maybe 15-18 then try keeping a little active after that, pace around do some stretches. fight the urge to sit.
you probably shot your load too early with the coffee.
hot shower and caffeine after about 20h will push you to maybe 30-40.

modafinil, ephedrine, meth, adderall all do it for me

Started and finished a 2 week team assignment by myself. (C++, µController).

All I took was energy drinks, but slowly and spaced.

Helps that I hadn't had caffeine in weeks.

Wish I have had amphetamine though.

If you get regular sleep you'll have no problem staying awake.

Slept for about 3 hours about 9 hours ago. Going for 24-30 hours of no sleep. It pretty easy when you're young, i guess.

Anyways, anyone here tried polyphasic sleep ? Looking for some schedule suited for college. I probably will not be able to sleep every 4 hours as in Uberman. Everyman perhaps ?
