Eggs Benedict

Eggs Benedict Thread. If you guys have any good recipes, I'd like to know

you put a poached egg, ham, and hollandaise on an english muffin
boom theres your recipe

>No lime garnish
You fucked up.

i like to also ass some kind of green thing, like asparagus, or spinach, or avocado

youll get a sprinkling of chives and be happy about it

that sounds good too. thanks.

Make it as normal, but hide some dried mullet roe under the meat.

It's really fucking hard to make the sauce, poaching eggs is a meme by the way people pretend its hard but its actually easy

>hard to make hollandaise
Do you have to wear a helmet to leave your house?

t. someone who doesnt make it from scratch

I was paid at a breakfast eatery to make it every morning, I juiced limes bitch.

Sounds like you're a little fuck-nugget who thinks simple things are hard.
>OH THESE LEGOS...HOW DO THEY CLICK TOGETHER???

fuck off

Go away. Lemon is subjectively better in this application.

>limes
>hollandaise

Wtf?

>not putting whole limes in your hollandaise blender.

>not putting your hollandaise blender in a lime
are you all casuals?

I haven't perfected this recipe by any means, but here you go:

>Poached egg
>Hollandaise sauce is made of yolk, mustard, and the tiniest hint of lime
>Ham is cooked to a "semi-crisp" with salt and pepper (I tried coating it with honey once too but I'm not too sure about it anymore)

Now for the bread part
>Cut hole in middle of bread of choice
>Put in pan
>Pun egg in hole
>Season egg with a tiny big of garlic as it cooks (this is so it has a distinct flavor in relation to the poached egg)
>Melt cheese on topside of the bread
>Put on ham then poached egg then sauce
>garnish if desired

It's basically a combination of Egg Benedict, Bird's Nest, and Garlic Toast. It's a full meal unless you're American.

>hollandaise blender

Wow you fucking retard way to admit you have no idea why it'd be hard

anyone who thinks hollandaise is hard to make clearly is just too lazy to stir shirt and doesn't know when to stop

From bottom to top:
Texas toast
Smoked brisket, moist cut
Poached egg
Hollandaise

More than a full meal, and i'm American.

Sounds like gross mashup you'd typically find in here in the US.

>Cheese with Eggs Benedict

Brunch.

...

>Mashup
In the end it's just a poached egg on top garlic toast instead of a muffin.

>Cheese with Benedict
It would be better without the cheese but if you've never had cheese with egg then you're missing out.
