How do you cook your bacon, co/ck/s...

How do you cook your bacon, co/ck/s? I like a lil bit of chewy texture but my friend cooks it until it's burnt and crunchy. Am I a barbarian for not overcooking pork or is my friend the pleb?

In the oven 400 for 15-20 min. Depends on thickness

>In the oven

just a few minutes and lower the heat

I like the fatty ends to be crispy but I like the darker part to be more chewy
it's hard to achieve

I have all my meat really well done.
Love bacon a little bit crispy.

elaborate please

Don't listen to him. Oven is the patrician's bacon cooking method. Even cooking, limited burn, etc

disgusting

Put bacon in cold pan
Add water
pan on mid- high burner
Wait for sizzle
turn burner to medium
flip bacon around until outside is crisp and no white unrendered fat.

Wa La. Crispy outside and tender inside.

First time on Veeky Forums I see.

Oven is best method. Even epic meal time was able to figure that out, despite being canadian.

Baked bacon is hospital bacon.

Ur mum is bacon m8

>lived in muslim country for 20 years
>still haven't quite figured out how perfectly cooked bacon should look
Lads, I need some help

shoo shoo muhammad

I like oven bacon. Always comes out crispy

oven bacon makes sense when you're cooking a huge batch

if I'm only making bacon for myself I like to use a stainless steel skillet

Looks nice. Normally I would heat my pan before putting the meat in but that's just me.

On a side note, how did you get your eggs like that?

get a heavy pan, heat it the fuck up and use some scissor tongs. tilt the pan to fry undercooked sections in the grease. pat dry in paper towels.

i make the best bacon ever and its not any more complicated than that.

that's cute, you're cute, I bet you're cute

dont use a huge pan, dont overcook, and keep stirring. kind of like a risotto.

dont put any milk or cream in it either, thats the worst egg meme.

>bacon

I've got a big Lodge cast iron pan I cook bacon in. Low-medium heat and give it some time. Sometimes I think the grease is the best part, always save it. The cooked bacon is kind of a bonus...

Extra crispy Mr. Frodo

always works for me
can't be bothered cleaning pans

Hell yeah!!

Mah niggah!

In microwave.
