When you ask that, do you mean just any collection of short stories (like Lovecraft's Tales), or a group of stories that is arranged purposefully (like the Canterbury Tales)?

I'm looking for any collection of tales in genres (gothic, fantasy, SciFi, weird, horror) but good fiction, like Aleph and Other Stories or Arabian Nights. Carver's realist short stories is an example something I'm not looking for.
