This is what I am cooking right now

What happened to the leg?

a tiny hippo?

Did you dry rub it? What are you mopping with? Looks great!

I wonder how a human would look like if you cooked it like this

...

What, pray tell, is "this".

Barbecue.

is that a baby hippo?

You are not being helpful.

Never been a fan of pork nor have I ever had a whole barbecue like that, but it looks pretty damn tasty OP.

RIP hippo
he will be missed

We still haven't established whether or not this is really pork.

flyover here... where 2 cop hippo?

Is that a pig? I can't tell

>I'm a cop. Roast me! Lolololololollllo

What? It looks nothing like a hippo and is very clearly a pig. Look at the snout, ears, hooves, and tail. There's no question, it's a pig.

What happened to the backside of the pig?

Well the lower legs were cut off and a metal spike was slammed up it's ass until it came out the top of it's skull.

I want to eat its tiny hippo cheeks

OH, I was looking at it wrong. I thought the head was the arse and vice versa, thus making it look like a lovecraftian abomination.

Same mistake.

Nice OP, please be sure to take some more pics and post them.

This is why we have myths like the Loch Ness monster.

>Well the lower legs were cut off
Why? Those were choice cuts.

My favorite BBQ in Dania Beach stopped using their smoker and switching to this caja china stuff. The smoke just doesn't permeate down to the bone. Makes a great chicharron and lechon sandwich though, with a lot of mojo and lime, mm. But, I would call it "roast" and not "BBQ"

"pig a la bondage"

"bondage a la turkey durger"

Stop using defiling nigger language words while communicating in English.

Yea, I thought it was exactly the same

I got no experience in roasting whole pigs but its rear looks really, really fat.

Op here
60 lb pig
9 hrs slow cook
Will post more pics in a bit
Had to feed 45 people
Just cleaning up and such
Pretty exciting was my biggest pig I've done
Usually lamb or calf or 30lbs or less piggy
Easier to cook and more forgiving rare
I'll see if I can make a webm of it spinning too

Oh and nothing was cut off
Full pig
Full legs
The picture obviously is fuming with peeps
I'll be back

Better view?

looks good. that setup doesnt look too hard to make either... giving me ideas

Super easy bro and pretty portable ish too
People loved it
Not every gets to experience a proper pig/lamb/beef roast
Questions?

nice blog where do i sub

Sorry I'm excited
Post em if you got it is brehs

how much did you pay for the pig?

as a legal cuban whom has visited plenty of times i can safely say that thats the only thing to eat

Sounds like you're an expert on killing and eating baby animals. Ever consider taking on someone your own size?

people I cooked for bought it but I reckon they got a smoking deal 150 buck
and that looks like it gonna be tasty
not an expert on killing anything
just cooked it, mack

So what's the process? Did you dry rub it? Are you basting it as it turns?

Any pics of Mr. Piggy disassembled?

No rub just constant basting

god I wish that were me

Does the snout get eaten?

>Does the snout get eaten
this time we kept the whole head, less the ears, for soup
but yes you can eat the snout

Umm. No sweetie, thats clearly a baby hippo.

Clearly sweetums

this looks like a serial killer's lair

looking left to right it looks like a roast hyena

Ditto

>pray tell
>being this coy
Actually kill yourself.

How does lechon taste? What'd you use on it?

>this looks like a serial killer's lair
Looked a right mess, canisters everywhere, kind of like the yard of drunk people the kind that have no air conditioning that are kind of outside too much because it is cooler than their house, you know what I mean, couch on the porch types, ashtrays everywhere.

No offense, OP, thanks for posting, but couldn't you have poured some seasonings in a bowl, or basted with a brush or sprinkled with a spoon. Did you preplan this at all, or was this like someone's family pet potbellied escaped pig that you trapped in your fenced in area just long enough to light the grill and run for your chef's knife?

How did you get him away from his Mommy?

UMA DELICIA

Do Europeans really do this?

Pictures don't lie
But that could also be many fly over states as well

>Wisconsin.jpg
:^)

no, because in america we slaughter and exterminate pigs as rapidly as possible, on sight, and often with automatic weapons mounted on ATV's, pickup trucks, and helicopters.

not even kidding. we will find herds of pigs and use night vision, miniguns, and helicopters to mow them all down and let them rot on the ground.

we trap them a dozen at a time and then shoot them all in the head, whether they're 1lb babies or pregnant mothers.

>pigs
You mean hogs, pigs by definition are domesticated and we certainly don't slaughter them with miniguns, missiles, flamethrowers, nukes etc.

t. pig

That's only because swarms of hogs are a fucking mini-natural disaster and the numbers have to culled to avoid such herds.

>t.
New here or is it just a summer thing?

t. New as fuck

t. newfag that doesn't know what t. is.

t. summerfag

It's the greatest day

fuck me i thought that was a dog with a really long neck

Turns me on just thinking about it

3-4 years ago, there was a trend on /b/ where people would put pics of burnt people, it look the same as in OP pic

There is a special recipe with this kind of pig you have in your pic, I think you must smoke it for hours and once it's done, you cut it with a plate
I think it's a portuguese thing, maybe OP already done it before

It's so hard to tell whom is retarded and whose merely pretending these days

>spit roast

My man

When I lived in the woods I used an old barrel with the top off and my neighbour's five iron (also with the top off, taped over the end) to cook his dogs over a fire. I used petrol for the flame though and it tasted like shit.

Gradually I stopped being a retard and I actually realised that different types of Oak trees produce different smoky tastes. Pretty awesome with salt, pepper and lemon.

Ya bro
I used hardwood charcoal
No gassy taste
Well it was 9 hours slow cook
It got smoked ish
I cooked it old style Greek way

Nice with some watermelon
