Be honest, lads. How long is your back log?

Be honest, lads. How long is your back log?

Of just the things I own and haven't read? 787 books.

Fuck it's gotta be 16 or something now.
Every damn sale I make off with too many.

6 physical books sitting on my desk. I gotta finish this PDF book first

I don't know, but my front log just got bigger if you know what I mean, he-he-he-he!

xD

ive got about 200 books on my ipad and god knows how many more real books on my shelf.
im glad somebody else admits to reading pdf file books on Veeky Forums

I have more books in my backlog than I have hairs on my head.

No I am not bald.

Less than 10, I suppose.

I own perhaps 4-5000 physical books I haven't read.

About 20 and I'm already thinking about getting more books. Somebody stop me.

JUST POST A REAL NAKED WOMEN OP!
I'M SICK OF THIS COCK TEASING BULLSHIT.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEE

MODS MODS

You're like my dad only he actually has read all of them like a minimum of 5 times each.

A have read a few thousand as well. Better than spending my money on cars and drugs.

infinite, it doesn't go away until I die.

kek

Faggot

I guarantee you that I have gotten more use from cars and drugs than you have your books.

*gets popcorn*

>reading on an iPad
Do you hate your eyes?

Is this person 12 years old?

30 or 40 something

there is a log in my backside about 6 inch long

as a matter of fact, i do
i intend to go blind within the next ten years
i think it'll make an interesting conversation starter at dinner parties

Why would this be worse than using computers generally?

About 7 or 8 that I plan on reading by the end of the year.

around 200

average purchase price is like 3.40 and i dont really buy anything else so its not that crazy

im just usually not relaxed enough to read

I have a list of about 500 books to get. I have maybe 300 sitting unread on the shelf.

It will probably take me 20 years to read them all

Sometimes I think there is nothing in this life that can compete with hot teenage girls for my attention.
It doesn't seem right. How do I make it right? What is the wise thing to do?

Actually not bad well played sir

How come I never get to see these

Physical books that I own maybe 100. Torrented maybe 50. I don't even know why I do it. I just don't even like reading I guess just acquiring books

tsundoku

Physical ? Perhaps 20-30.
Books I haven't bought yet : probably about 800.

My backlog of PDFs and ebooks is enormous because all these books are available and I want to read them, but I always pick up paperbacks before sitting down to read on my tablet. They just pile up.

My book backlog has to be about 40 at the moment. I have a lot of disposable income right now, so I've basically just been ordering everything I think of and walking out of second hand bookstores with a stack.

I wish I could be her. I wish I was born female

35 books that I physically own. Probably take me 18 months to get through them. Five of them are 1200+ pages.

When that's done I will try and limit myself to buying one at a time. I feel trapped by my own collection.

Holy

about 5. I've a limit of eight when weather might get nasty. wtf are you motherfuckers doing?

Fuck off, degenerate

Currently 12. Though 5 of them were given to me by friends. In my opinion, there is nothing worse than being told to read a book. I seek out and choose what I want to read.

I have around ~130 books I haven't had the time to read. On my reading list there's an additional 200 or so. I also always end up picking up a new book or three whenever I leave the house.

I'm beginning to feel like a pseud, although I've read 150ish books in the last two years.

such a sweet ass

>tfw I'll literally be dead before I finish my backlog

I have about 300 on my list, 30-40 physical, and 4 ebooks.

And I'm getting a few more today!

Of books I own? A thousand or so.

Are you the guy who has a personal library with blue walls? Not many people on Veeky Forums have that large of book collections to have several thousand unread.

No, I'm the blue library guy, and I have several hundred unread, but definitely not several thousand. I have, however, read my complete Peanuts collection.

I've been tracking my books read via goodreads since 2012. I currently have 1500 books to my to-read list and managed to read about 500.

I wanna rip her dress and sniff her butt

Wow. That's impressive.

Physical: around 30-60
Haven't bought: 70+
I'm about 5 books behind in my current reading stack.

>9206116

Just google "Veeky Forums (board name) archive" and search the post number

Be careful though, some posts may be illegal and you may be walking into child porn

Almost every book on my shelf. Over 300 is my estimate.

about 20 on the shelf, about 400 in my wishlist

Finally pulled all the books I never read off my regular shelves and quarantined them on a small shelf where I also stack my recently acquired stuff. Maybe it's about 120 books, now it feels oppressive like homework getting a book off that shelf, even though there's stuff I'm really looking forward to reading.

unending

i have ~10 books i bought and have yet to open
i have hundreds 'on my list' that i want to get around to
and i have everything i've already read and not understood as well as i would on a re-read

pretty much everything is on my backlog except kafka's novels, because of how much i obsessed over them in my teen yrs.

this is the way of the world. you will never accomplish all you set out to. we must learn to live with it.

Why not both?

That's a neat set, bet it wasn't cheap

The only comic strip collection I own is pic related

9

I need more sleep so I can actually focus on reading instead of listening to music all day.

not as long as the fat stinking log coming out of that womans ass in to my mouth I'll tell you that much

To-read list on Goodreads is about 750 books

I'm not a retard so I don't waste money on books that I can download for free from libgen. I've downloaded a few dozen PDFs that I need to get through

I've got a stack of ten or so on top of my bookshelf, but about twenty others on a list that I'd like to read.

i have a queue of 19 already planned, but there's gotta be another 10 or 15 of lesser priority.
i'm actively reading at the moment so i will get to them all over the next few months, by which time of course i'll have a new backlog.

Like 3 or 4.

>I'm not a retard so I don't waste money on books that I can download for free from libgen
why the fuck would you post this?

My GR says 155 but accounting for books within books and stuff I'm not likely to touch it's probably near 120

16 books
I read 20 pages yesterday
ngmi

I am not going anywhere for the next three months anyway.

I don't know about my back log but my front log is about 7" after seeing this honey

>How long is your back log?

over 200 books/novels/autobiographies

you looking for some KNAWLEDGE bro?

>people dont like what i like so they shouldnt talk about it ever

this is you, this is what you sound like
you should be embarrassed that you're such an insufferable worthless gaping anus

>7"

You legitimately sound crazy. A backlog isn't necessarily physical. All I was saying is that there's no reason to say you don't buy physical books when someone asks how long your backlog is.

user, your dick is really only eight inches? Sorry, um, I forgot. . . I gotta feed my pet snake, it's uh ya, it's been a couple weeks. I'll call, well, ya, sure later.

40ish books.

~45

Somewhere over two dozen books, probably under 4 dozen. I'm trying to clean through some of my backlog by knocking out a bunch of shorter story type books (20-50 pgs) of which I have maybe a dozen I'm planning on. If we're counting shit on my phone, it's in the thousands. I torrented a bunch of "best 100 books of all times" and "best 100 Sci-FI books", etc. I know I'll never get through them now but I wanted to get the books while I definitely can.

I dont even know at this point since I just started (with the topic) and the backlog kinda created itself. How can I measure something by only aknwoleging its mere existence?

Think about how much of it you haven't read, you [censored] [censored].

thousands (seriously) of torrented pdfs, epubs, mobis, and even docs, docxs and rtfs that i'd like to read.

i've recently bought a kindle so currently in the process of converting my entire collection into mobi.

also, i'm not american, or british, so haven't read the "school course" reading list books in the english language yet, no classics yet, nothing that you guys don't even talk about anymore cause you read them when you were 14.

tackling local authors first.
at least my goodreads read count in increasing.

oh and maybe half a dozen hardbacks / paperbacks which i prefer to read first.

The Calvin set is great. I have them in pb, so I haven't been able to justify the box set. The Peanuts, though, I've been buying each two-book slipcase set (the cheapest way to get them) each December for 14 years now, and they finally finished up. I'm ignoring the deluxe large full-color Sunday strip collections they're doing now and focusing on the other holy grail: the ongoing complete Pogo.

Complete daily pogo or complete everything pogo? If it's the latter I'm curious on your source.

I prefer to think of it as a fore log.

Depends on how much I ate that day.

you'll be happy to learn that I do buy physical books, as well as downloading pdf file books.
I find it funny how people on Veeky Forums like to pass judgment and feel superior to anyone who reads a book on an electronic device, like why the fuck does it affect you in any way? you smug elitist non-reading-comprehension-having fuckhole.
The best thing about ebooks is that they dont make my ipad weigh anymore so I can carry 200 books with me at any time. Which, again, doesn't mean that I don't love to read physical books as well, it doesnt have to be one or the other. Ahhhhhh-fucking-duh you shmuck

and as for you, you prick! I told you not to tell strangers on the internet about our secret gay sex! this is the final straw, i'm breaking up with you and I will never stick my 6 inch log in your backside again.
I hope you're happy... because you broke my heart!

30-50

These are my immediate concerns, anyone have Melville recommendations?

Sixteen books, if l'm not mistaken.

Four of those are fantasy novels and a YA book by John Green which l probably won't ever read because my Veeky Forums friends on Goodreads will laugh at me.
