If abc is a multiple of 11, then the answer is either ac or (a-1)c.
Add a and c, if it equals b it's ac, if it equals b+11 it's (a-1)c.

869 -> 8+9=17=6+11 -> 79 is the answer.
253 -> 2+3=5 -> 23 is the answer

Test allows random chance to determine your score more than math skill. If you get a bunch of addition/subtraction and multiplication/division by 2 or 5s, you're going to have an easy time getting a higher score. If you get thrown 7s, 9s, mostly division, you're going to have a lower score. The test needs structuring.
