What are some culinary red pills that you've recently had to swallow? For me, it's the realization that pic related only tastes as good as it does because they literally add sugar to it.

>good

People actually think those taste good?

They taste amazing

This has to.be one of the most disgusting food ever invented.

>45 calories per slice
what the actual fuck

>food

Cheese and animal products limit culinary creativity.

I had to realize my cook never satisfy bored stepmilf.

How many times can you make a salad without getting bored?

Stop being a picky eater.

>vegans only eat salad

This is what I mean. Most non-vegan dishes are centered around a hunk of meat with some poorly made sides.

How can a member of a cooking board know nothing about food?

>2% milk

what's the other 98% made from?

what are some good vegan dishes then? I'm sure any of them could be made with meat included

american

Stop asking questions, you hear? The less you know, the better.

Yeah they're the best for burgers.

he's right you know, though the "deli" version is even better

the main reason it's popular is because it melts easily
it makes it easy to make a grilled cheese or cheeseburger or something like that

you could use any kind of real cheese and just cover it on low heat for a few minutes and it'll work just the same. plus it'll actually be good

Because the "deli" version is actually cheese as opposed to "cheese product."

i buy the deli version because it's the literally go between volume/flavor from actually deli cheese. semi-good tasting and 6 bucks for 48 thick slices.

>"deli" version of american cheese

they call that sliced cheddar

triggered euroscum plz go

No cheddar in America, user.

it's sliced american, pic related

>kraft
>pasteurized process cheese food

That literally means it's cheese with milk, whey or other milk products added. Almost all American cheese slices are dairy based.

Why would you add those?

Cheese is already fine the way it is.

To make it as cheap as possible.

Not a 'murican, but I admit like them too. They're like wrapped cheese oysters. You can practically slobber them up from their package. And they're so good on greasy home made burgers, because they almost become a sauce.
