As a place that doesn't get dust storms, yes, it is very weird.
The sky and the sun shining through the dusty clouds made it look like the star suddenly lost most of its hydrogen and began expanding.
It was fucking bizarre.
It was even reddish up in Scotland.
I thought I had woken up at dawn initially because of how red it was. Then I noticed the sun peering out of the clouds at 11am and promptly shit myself. I then made a cup of tea to calm my nerves and had a scone with jam.
