Going to Las Vegas for a couple days, any good restaurants worth trying? Any bars that have decently priced and wide selections of whisky and bourbon?

If you're a calorie thief butterball who cooks off a George Foreman grill just to drink off the drip tray, consider Heart Attack Grill. If you're +350 lbs and weigh yourself in public, you eat free. Some people have died eating there.

The pub at the Aria is really good at a nice price, lots of good options. They have a nice bar too. Def worth checking out.

There are a couple of michelin star restaurants. Heart Attack Grill and Peppermill's are good if you want something more down to earth, or enjoy being spanked.

Ping Pang Pong at the Gold Coast, if you like Chinese food.

Don't buy alcohol in Vegas dude. Unless you go to Ellis Island for beer. Shit is ridiculously inflated, even for Vegas standards. Gordon Ramsay's Burger makes good stuff that is reasonably (for Vegas) priced.

I personaly like the Hog burger most, but they have another with goat cheese that is nice.

I've looked at that stuff before, good looks too greasy for my tastes but thanks for the suggestion.
Will look into!
Well I'll probably just get something at total wine for the room but other then that I'm just looking for places that have decent selections and a couple decently priced whiskies that I can't get back in Canada

The heart attack is definitely a memorable experience. I will never forget getting wasted and then spanked by a dwarf nurse. 10/10. Other than that, the bacchanal is worth the money to go to.

>Bars in Vegas

Haha noob just sit down at any casino and Gamble and drinks are free. You should tip.your cocktail waitress though. 1. It's polite 2. It'll make sure she comes back your way

As for food casinos usually have food for cheap that's awesome too. Remember there's a reason for this, they want you to stay in the casino gambling. Moderate your gambling, go boss hog on drinks and food.

gordons ramsay pub inside caesars, its not expensive.
also heart attack grill for the memes
heard ramsays burgher is good too.

>canadian

get some white castle too, theres one in front of the shops of caesar. It was too fucking hot when i went so i stayed close the hotel.

the buffet at caesars for breakfast is pretty shit, the selection is lacking for the price. it was nice to drink all that juice after getting wasted though.

Gordon Ramsey's Pub - Caesar's
Gordon Ramsey's Burger - PH
Restaurant Guy Savoy - Caesar's Forum
BLT Steak - Bally's
Craft Steak - MGM

Bar below check in desk at the Wynn (by waterfall)
Monkey Bar at the SLS

Bachannal is too expensive for what you get. Go to a real restaurant.

I have buffet coupons for breakfast at MGM so that's covered. Shit was pretty good especially the sausage.
I was doing that last night m8, however their selection is crap. Only have Makers and JD Single Barrel and only Glenlivet 12 for scotch which is trash

Pane Vino's (sp) by the airport is really nice. Kind of out of the way, so no upcharge like the strip. Just a nice quiet joint with classy Italian food done right.

Kind of embarrassed myself because I think the Russian Mob likes to hang out there, and I mistook a bodyguard for a doorman and asked him where the pisser was.

Heart Attack Grill is hype. Had double cooked in lard, malt liquor in served in a paper bag (nice touch), and sipped off a buttermilk milkshake.

Solly's butter burger in WI beats it hands-down, but I guess you don't go to a place like that for the food as much as the experience. By the way, the owner doesn't believe in credit cards on account of early life degeneracy, so bring cash.

>and sipped off a buttermilk milkshake.

That seems like an odd thing. Wouldn't they be serving full-cream milkshakes, not something lean like buttermilk?

Buttermilk is low-fat. It's what's left over after the cream has been removed to make butter.

Gordon ramsay fish and chips isnt very good so avoid that. Fremont street is a lot cheaper both drink and food wise. One of the casinos has all day $3 beers.

Well to cut them some slack, it has a pat of butter for garnish. I think it's more of a name-association thing.

>I think it's more of a name-association thing.

Yeah, it probably appeals to idiots who don't know what buttermilk actually is.

>on account of early life degeneracy
But he gets the money either way, what's it to him if some other company is left footing the bill?

His soapbox was that he was in credit card debt hard, and didn't wish it on anyone. Also (unsaid) probably a little bit of businessman not wanting to pay that 2-5% vendor fee to the credit card companies.

He seemed like a good guy.

He sounds like a crazy person, honestly.

>I don't take credit cards so other people can't get into debt by eating my burgers!
>I serve insanely unhealthy burgers to get people to realize they're unhealthy!

Lots of places here, mostly bars, are still cash only. Its not usually a deal because almost all will have an ATM.

You're entitled to your obscure opinions.

t-thanks

>Going to Las Vegas
why, what a fucking meme city. I'll die happy if I never have to visit that manufactured tourist trap

Dont do any of these, I just went to the Ramsay steakhouse and you can get a lot better for a lot cheaper off the strip.

Green Valley > The Strip

I'm mostly staying on the strip due to not having insurance for a rental car right now and no money for uber.
It's a family trip to celebrate getting my bachelors and getting accepted for masters program in the fall.
Also the hotel and brunch is free so have money for liquor and dinner since I don't go to clubs or gamble outside of free drink bars

Tacos El Gordo is fucking great if you like tacos or Carne asada fries.

go to fucking 365 pub bro fucking amazing beers and food there. just don't get the fish n chips

Having lived in Vegas all my life, I can tell you this: The heat in the height of summer will kil you, stay in the shade and go out at night. Stay off the strip, if you want a decent priced drink (Fucking 7$ slurpee at the Hard Rock, with another 5$ for a shot of vodka added, fuck off.), but the words "Last call" have never been uttered here. There are Bars at the end of every block, and you can go to some of the smaller casinos for a decently priced meal and drink. Personally, I like a sushi joint called Blue Fin, it's a bit down the street from the airport on Sunset. 25$ all you can eat sushi, and it's of good quality. Insert Coin is a fun barcade, although we have a lot of those recently, but honestly, most people here that drink assemble their own liquor cabinets, just to avoid going anywhere in the heat.

Try the "Lotus of Siam" excellent thai food

"Tender" steakhouse at the Luxor. They have a menu of cows from around the world that you choose from. Not just the cut, you choose the actual cow. I got a cut from New Zealand. It was the best filet mignon I've ever had. Also the best mushroom risotto I've ever had. To be honest, probably one of the best meals I've ever had, since those are 2 of my favorite foods to eat in general.

Fairly expensive, but worth it.

As a fellow Vegas native I can support almost all of this. Nothing ever really closes, and buying food off the strip is (mostly) overpriced unless its a higher end place. However i will say don't just scoff at the hotel buffets, they're actually great quality.

Back with you, I can agree with that. Decently priced, too. The buffets are actually pretty awesome, I like the Green Valley Ranch most, you?

the nicest one i've had is probably mandalay bay. but for the average joe Aliante and red rock station aren't half bad

>Any good restaurants
>Vegas

Real question, is there a casino area with shit food on earth?
Usually that stuff is pretty good to keep the allure of gamblers in luxury.

I second this OP, it's really good

You're gay. Part of the vacation experience is going to novelty bars/restaurants. OP should go to Red Square at the Mandalay Bay, or something of the ilk. Over a hundred different types of vodka. The bar is made of ice. No need to add ice and dilute your drink. The bar itself will chill your glass. And you're gay.

Insert coin closed down

robertos taco shop please

Hash house a go go for breakfast fare

How about you go to Washington DC or Boston instead?

Guy Fieri's
