Okay I was going to post this knowing Veeky Forums would hate it. Unironically, overcooked steak diced with pan fried potatoes and pepper cream gravy is one of my favorite meals of all time. It's a matter of context though. That chew paired with crunchy/soft potatoes and sweet spicy gravy.

Whenever I've gotten fried eggs that were browned around the edges it's always been tough and chewy, and kind of sticky. I don't like that texture. Might be different if you cook it at a higher heat to purposely get that texture instead of accidentally overcooking them though.
