I didn't go to university, I went to books.

Did you find any hot chicks to suck your dick at books?

No.

>be employer
>see resume
>"i've read a lot of books"
>into the trash it goes

why are libertarian atheists so embarrassing lmao

I love how, in a world where "everyone" has a degree, "Go to college for better job prospects" becomes "Go to college for the experience of going to college." "Do this for the sake of doing it" is how psychopaths convince the weak-willed to help them senselessly murder.

Also, in that same world, being economically successful without a degree is considered more worthy of respect than using a degree to further your success.

At least the music is good. Music is best.

this is your gf on books

>be intelligent
>work for yourself or close family/friends

>>work for yourself

fair

>>or close family/friends

any retard can do that.

>any retard can do that.
But apparently college grads cant?

really makes me think

>be employee candidate
>using my book learnin I transcend the need for a job
>into the trash I go

books taught me perspective

I will never forget the day I was introduced to Zappa, the Thomas Pynchon of music. Absolutely Free will always be one of my favorite albums.

Sorry, my man, cleaning your room in exchange for good boy points isn't a real job.

Beefheart is the Pynchon of music

Economics success is not the only kind of success, but most of the people who say they don't need college to be successful are only talking about money. Tells me a lot.

I don't get why Zappa is considered such a great guitarists...
But Beefheart is nice

>Economics success is not the only kind of success
No shit, that's why I specified "economic success" without a degree nets "respect," because most people associate college degrees with economic success.

The idea of any "success" as a fixed goal rather than a process is a flawed one, anyway

>gets me a place to live
>gets me fresh and free food
It is a job, technically, pleb.

Sorry guys, The Residents are the Tommy P of music.

But who is the Zappa of literature?

Zappa, unlike the rock guitarists of the era, knew and used top notch avantgarde techniques and blues improvisation on his music.

Richard Brautigan or Kurt Vonnegut.

Herzog is the Pynchon of film then. He's Veeky Forums as fuck too.

Pynchon = Tom Waits
Jestman = Zappa

"Writing about music is like dancing about architecture." - Zappa
