I wanna do a 70s/80s themed party

What are some dishes unique to that era? Like how casseroles are synonymous with the 50s. Nothing is coming to mind, but there simply HAD to have been food fads from that time period.

Hotdog on a stick and jamba juice?

fondue
aspic foods for the 70's but that's stretching it a bit

Prawn cocktails
PatĂȘ
Fondue
Deviled eggs
Potato salad
Jello
Sloppy joes (/UK/unt so not sure if this applies but its what I remember from kids tv)

Some of the pics of aspic are blowing my mind

>Deviled eggs
This has potential. Never thought of it as 70s specifically, but I guess it kinda is?

I grew up in the 70s and my dad always used to make steak diane and scampi provençale. Also, from the 80s ratatouille and pork in brandy cream sauce

quiche lorraine was big in the mid 80s where I was
they even did findus quiche lorraine

volauvents were also bug in the 80s, usually filled with a tinned tuna tomato concoction

chicken kievs were big and they did frozen mini kievs that you'd cook too high and end up raw in the middle

GO BACK TO SLEEP JIMMY

fondue restaurants
little caesars pizza
hawaiian shit, like little drumsticks in teriyaki, tiki culture
