Midway between Whole Foods and Trader Joes. Pretty good.

Good place for produce

If I wanted overpriced health food I'd go to Whole foods tbqh

their meat and produce is pretty cheap but also generally fairly close to going bad, they probably have deals with local surplus farmers

good buy just be careful

Basically this
One is a 5 minute walk from where I live so I get most of my fresh stuff there

flyover food.

Produce is good, bulk bin stuff is good. Some stuff is way overpriced though.

> still supporting corporations

I much prefer Berkeley Bowl

Great for fresh ingredients. Packaged stuff overpriced.

Their white choco macadamia cookies are my greatest weakness.

This desu.
>2017
>not supporting your local farmers
tsk tsk.

????

But they buy from local farmers.

Am I the only one who feels like they've seen the majority of these posts another thread about one of the other overpriced nu-male stores?

Particularly

This, meat I buy there goes bad super fast.

I basically just go there to refill on spices.

it's all over california

... Sprouts is a hippy organic health food store

I go there once or twice a month for the bulk nuts and dried fruit and shit

Sprouts is basically a cheaper Whole Foods. It's pretty much why they've been expanding rapidly over the past few years. I believe Albertsons might buy them pretty soon.

Their logo and labeling is hideous. Filled to the brim with wonder-bread lower middle class types who think they're fancy for shopping there

I live in California anyway so there's no reason not to go to a Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, or the co-op instead

Decent variety of coffee

> I much prefer Berkeley Bowl
Oh shit, another Berkeley fag.

Couldn't be more wrong

it has worse quality produce than my local kroger so i don't bother

They have the feel of a super overpriced store but if you actually look at the prices it's pretty cheap. They do sell a lot of snake oil (organic food, homeopathic supplements, etc.), but I don't complain about it because the idiots buying that stuff subsidize my cheap produce.

Grow your own or farmers market. Way better experiences to be had. Buy direct and avoid the bullshit.
