Lets cook some steak dinner

Lets cook some steak dinner.

The first step is to beat your hot dog bun into a plank and then let it dry out so we can mince it back into flour; I forgot I didn't have flour so I need a thickening agent in my mushroom sauce, this will be it.

Stay tuned.

I'm intrigued

just food process

What knife is that? I have never seen one like that. A filleting knife? Fiskars?

It looks like a shitty ceramic knife.

Alright I think this will do, gonna let it dry out for like 15 more mins then cut it up some more.

Did OP die?

Hopefully he kysed himself for good

thyme to chop shrooms.
I haven't made it yet so I'm just posting as I go every so often. I love you.

This is my favorite thing to do when it comes to cooking, peeling the leafs off of thyme pricks.

Round one, reduce some mushrooms butter, black pepper, thyme, cream, and beef broth; not added in that order but progress making; also got some hot dog flour in there.

One pan of dank sauce coming up; lets start on the asparagus / steak / carb now.

bumping

I am cooking aspergers in OJ and black pepper.

>steak dinner
>goes to the trouble of preparing things other than steak

fucking faggot

This is a new low for CK, apparently you can only have steak if you are eating steak dinner.

Cut some thin strips off a sirloin.

Nice, but what would you do if I were there hehe :^)

whole grain rotini + chard, spinach, and kale.

Pull out the aspergers and put the steak in; sear is not important w/ steaks this thin that will cook in 1 minute on each side so ignore sear posters.

The orange flavor in the aspergers and steak is goat.

>sear is not important

Based dinner.

haha you're wrong lad. 0 benefit in searing a 2 minute steak

shit guys, I had never tried this cooking in OJ before; but it is worth doing; very nice flavors.

Searing adds flavor, the cook time of the steak doesn't matter with that

that's not steak son. maybe if you didn't spend your tendies money on asparagus and button mushrooms, you could have afforded a little bit more than $4 sandwich cuts.

unironically kill yourself

both wrong.

steak refers to the way a slice of protein is sliced.

>Chopsticks

And that has to do with searing adding flavor how?

If you're not eating with chop sticks in 2017 then you probably shouldn't be eating at all.

searing doesn't add flavor in this case. what are you an ihop cook?

How does it not add flavor "in this case"? It will always add flavor unless you're somehow removing the seared parts and not eating it afterward. Stop being so defensive and insulting, take the advice and make a better steak next time m8.

Why didn't at least cut the steak then?

This thread confuses me

do you not have a food processor?

>Work in a kitchen
>Get asked to pick 1/4lb of thyme
What a fun way to spend an entire shift.

I thought the pic was of freezer-burned boneless pork chop that was defrosted in the microwave for too long until I read hot dog bun.

yeah I didn't feel like washing it though.

...

>1/4 lb of thyme

Damn what were you guys cooking to use that much thyme?

Was for a few things, but they do some big catering events.

I'd cuddle with the tan one on the left

>entire shift.
should have taken an hour at most.
I can tell why your boss hates you.

2nd rate mince
>actually impressed

not grilled, no crosshatch, wtf

I've got the chef knife version.. Only good thing about it is how it looks

>some truth in there

Looks nice, good job!

1/4 pound of thyme is like an entire bucket

shit, is this actually a thing? I thought people would give me crap for doing this but it actually tastes really good.

$500 knife can't afford plates

typical Veeky Forums faggot.

it's only $100

that makes it better how?

$400 savings
