My family's recipe for pumpkin casserole. (It's not sweet)

For me, it is the pecan pie. The best fall food pie.

I'm ready for persimmon season.

All the Thanksgiving foods.
Roast turkey. Or smoked. Or fried.
Mashed potatoes.
Gravy. All the gravy.
Stuffing > dressing.
Cranberry sauce.
Ambrosia salad.
Lime jello with cream cheese, pineapple, marshmallows, and pecans.
Green bean casserole.
Peas.
Corn.
Candied yams.
Yeast rolls.
Pecan pie.
Pumpin pie.
Sweet potato pie.

razor blade candy apples

Peach cobber

I could really go for some candied yams.

Kind of pissed that we aren't getting an Indian summer, it's usually in the high 90's low 100's this time of year, it's been in the 70's for 2 weeks.

MUH GLOBAL WARMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pumpkin bread=delicious

Boiled chicken, brown rice and broccoli.

I guess something with pumpkin in it.

Nutmeg.

that you are not linking?

which kind? I would love a recipe for a non-corn syrup pecan pie.

is pumpkin posting back on the menu already lads?

My nigga.
You makin cookies?

>that you are not linking?

Eh...I just came back here now. I'll have to type it out because I only have it written on an old recipe card. Which I will do if this thread is still here when I wake up.

will pumpkin spice be forced into everything again

Pumpkin spice flavored pumpkin spice, extra spice.

>welp, it's been cooler than normal in my backyard the last couple weeks so clearly global warming is fake!

Hes right though. It hasn't been cooler than this since 90s, heat wave peaked in June, it rained half of July and August been cruising in the 70s.

Why are Americans incapable of understanding the difference between changes in global averages and the short term conditions in their immediate vicinity? Are they just pretending to be stupid?

yams, butternut squash, beets, pumpkin pie. fall/winter vegetables are the best.

No we really are this stupid as a whole

OP here.
Yes,yes it will.

Pumpkin muffins with coffee. Butternut squash soup. I more enjoy the atmosphere with art festivals . the smell of fresh kettle corn. Fudge

leftover turkey and mashed potatoes

Chicken permisson isn't fall food.

Leftover turkey and cheddar sandwiches with gravy
Homemade pecan maple pie
Roasted pumpkin seeds

Ricotta cookies and pizzelles.

Warm rice pudding

Risotto with beer, mushrooms and chestnuts.

Idk I'm just tired of the heat

But is user from new England

My wife makes a delicious caramel apple upside-down cake every fall, and I've been fucking jonesing for some pumpkin bars for the past two weeks, so the sweets are definitely what I'm looking forward to this fall.

>a non-corn syrup pecan pie.
This is an oxymoron. Corn syrup is more essential to pecan pie than pecans.

Corn syrup triggers millennials.

Peaches are a summer fruit though.

mom's stuffing. she got the recipe from her dad and passed it down to us kids.

Post it

It's still hitting 45 C some days just kill me now.

I really wish some eurofags or asianfags had come to this thread with some recipes that don't include the godawful american pumpkin spice that nauseates everyone in October. I just picked these cooking pumpkins and just stare at them wondering what I can make that will be good.

Well, what do you want to do with them? Sweet or savory?

It's time.

may not sound like much, but I've always looked forward to it

I should also add, she doesn't mention this in the recipe but I believe she runs the meat and vegetables through a meat grinder. before mixing it with the stock etc.

Salted pumpkin seeds

They should really call it climate change to avoid confusing retards like you

We really are. A quarter of the adults in the country think the solar system revolves around us and like half think climate change is an outright hoax. Sorry world.

Oxtail stew

old bay pumpkin seeds
FTFY

No I'm talking about custard-type pies. I always used to make this one:

Pie. Oh, and cider.

Heavy stick-to-your-ribs stew, it's the only thing I'm good at and now is my time to shine.

Also my family makes praline pecans rather than pecan pie and I am so goddamn ready for my nana's version of these delicious little bastards.

Try the pralines with some good blue cheese if you haven't already. Unbelievably good.

I like simmering fall veggies in a crock pot with some beef broth or stock and taking the immersion blender to them after about 12 hours. Fuck I can't wait to do this!

Butternut squash soup

Name a better food for a chilly fall day as the leaves are starting to fall

Pumpkin spice latte. Fight me

i haven't had a proper thanksgiving in maybe a decade. I usually just go out for KFC or something the day before. The only things I really liked as a kid that were fall foods were stuffing, rolls, smoked turkey, cherry jello, and chocolate cream pie.

Cranberries. I use fresh cranberries in all kinds of things once they come into season.

Apples, cider, and those donuts they have at cider mills. The main reasons I still live in Michigan.

Pukkin purray

Pumpkin, sage, and sausage casserole. I'm getting hard just thinking about it.

OP here.
I fucking love apple doughnuts.
I have a apple orchard near me,they'res is fucking amazing.

I really enjoy pumpkin bread and pumpkin cupcakes.

Savory. Not a fan of sweets or desserts.

Ma nigga, Michigan has that stuff down. It's the same reason I'm still here.

homemade donuts and apple cider from the local farm

climates always changin bro

>Not a fan of sweets
How to spot someone who is full of shit and/or was abused as a child

>fall
What a childish thing to call autumn.

You're mom writes like a five year old. Is she some kind of spastic? Bet she's sucked too many dirty cocks the fucking whore

I can honestly say I've never heard someone be so angry about someone else's mom's handwriting before. perhaps you need some homecooked stuffing.

fuck off sperg eurocuck

...

Get off Veeky Forums, kid. You're not old enough to post here yet.

I'm guessing your the same person from the mexican food thread that went to shit.

You're just mad that his sentiment is correct.

Oyster dressing I make it for thanksgiving

Sounds really good.

>climate change is an outright hoax.

Yes. It is.

It stays hot here until about Thanksgiving. I look forward to using the oven again at some point...

Yeah, I'm filled with rage because of what someone said on a Taiwanese basket-weaving forum.

Last year I cracked the secret to apple crumble and I'm going to try some variations this year. Gonna make a shitload of strong ginger beer and bring it to Thanksgiving too.

What a childish thing to write.
I'm not European either.

I love fall, it's my favorite season
>before all the holidays
>sweater season
>pumpkins are comfy to look at
I love looking at pumpkins, they're very soothing

Make pumpkin stew! You'll love it.

Checked.

>pumpkin stew

africanbites.com/jamaican-chicken-pumpkin-soup/

That's the one I tried last year and it was top notch stuff.

>too late 4 in b4
