Where do you think universities will go in the future with regards to new applicant demands? Lifestyle? Political beliefs? Other?

Write about what sparked your passion in your field. The times you worked with fellow students to understand material and grew as a result. How you overcame problems that came up in group projects/labs/research and learned valuable lessons from it. The time your mom forced you to fuck you little brother and carry his child to term. The struggles to support your baby as a single mother in a world where you can't be open about who the father is. Your crippling substance abuse problems and how you finally overcame them. How your black boyfriend's ex constantly calls you up at 2am and tells you that she's going to kill your cracker ass faggot baby tomorrow while they are at the daycare. The difficulties in accepting an Islamic life style and the need to be regularly beaten to show who is boss in the household. The work and discussions you and your professors had that affected and inspired you. How you awakened your inner sexual fluidity and the kinky experiments you had in college.
You know, generic live story stuff.
The real answer if you are white or asian is: "Your research focusing on under served populations or related issues of inequality". Trust me, I know these fucks personally. It is more about discriminating against non-SJWs than preventing whites and asians from getting in because there literally might be one black applicant who is qualified and he is going to Harvard.

This. Berkeley ranks highly, but I wouldn't even apply if I saw this. Also probably crowded as shit and my friend that attends right now says there are homeless people all over campus. I dont plan on applying in the first place due to not liking the weather there.

urgent actions and our researchers can have an impact as huge as our politicians currently have.

Isn't this all bullshit and just a test of patience? I did chemistry undergrad and a lot of the peeps who went on to graduate school got in because of connections through their PI/doing enough ugrad research where they can actually pal around with their PIs at symposiums and shit and talk to profs at other, better schools. They made it sound like te PIs somehow waived this bullshit.

It's just a technicality that the graduate school requires. Nobody in your department of choice is going to give more than a second of thought to it.
I did inorganic. Went to a small uni, but I did good research.
At this point I don't care very much. I have other good applications done. Berkeley is a reach school academically but low on my priority list for places to live.
I am aware that, as a grad student, you get to float over all the SJW shit on campus anywhere you go. I don't know what to write this shit right now and haven't had enough coffee to bullshit it yet.

Read it carefully, that is a list of permitted topics, not required topics. All that is required is a description of your personal history and how that influenced your decision to pursue a graduate degree.

Don't go to Berkeley. Any school with shitty entry requirements is inevitably going to drop in ranking over time. Berkeley is a decade or two away from being a glorified community college, and the value of your degree is going to suffer as a result.
Of course, being able to write shit on that is pretty useful for NSF bullshit, since cuck reviewers cream their pants over someone writing about helping underprivileged minorities.

This is true, but having a highly ranked program with good research is only possible with good students and good faculty. Their STEM programs are inevitably going to suffer when they choose students to fill in diversity checkboxes rather than picking the ones that are most likely to succeed.

Here is some data from Harvard. Even though whites get the most athletic scholarships at Harvard and some get alumni admissions from their parents, they are still by far the smartest group. Asians are a distant second. You just have to control for the proportional populations at Harvard for each group to see this. Jews are a very distant third. This basically proves that whites and asians are very discriminated in Harvard admissions, especially whites.

Harvard is honestly beyond saving at this point. It was revealed to basically be a pro-Jew organization and it didn't care. That is its identity.

I work as a postdoc on Berkeley's campus. There are a lot of students and campus is crowded. There's also homeless who live on or wander onto campus. The weather is actually pretty nice for most of the year. Campus is also directly adjacent to downtown Berkeley so there's always plenty to do.

I just completed a PhD application to ucsb. Same thing. It's probably a new requirement of the California university system.
Ucsb titled it a "statement of personal achievement/contributions" but in the extended description they said they wanted to hear about how I'm the first of my family to go to college, how I had to work long hours to support my siblings while going to college, and or how my research has benefited "underserved segments of society."
It was obvious that my 8 publications and one patent wouldn't count as achievements to them, so I wrote about how I got an MSc in Scotland and learned about higher education and academic culture there. Probably still won't fit the diversity bill bc it's a white country and I should've given my masters scholarship to an underprivileged black youth and spent that year in the Congo apologizing to every black person I met
Yeah, the Federal government will have to threaten to cut off funding for this to change. It is obviously unethical. They are basically saying if you aren't a SJW you don't deserve to study Chemistry. Cut off their funding until they change! It is the only way!
Whats with American colleges requiring your life story to get accepted? In Europe all you need is to meet the basic score qualifications for the respective exam and you're all but guaranteed to get in.
