What is the spookiest chemical compound you know about?
Be it because they are extremely dangerous, they act in a weird manner...

Your mammas pussy juice

In order to ship this stuff, you usually mix it with TNT to make it less hazardous.

chlorine trifluoride is nightmare fuel

Fentanyl derivatives, which when spread airborne, can kill entire cities.

I'm gonna make a reaction with 500 mL t-BuLi soon. Pretty scared.

what is that shit ,looks like scary spider

Hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane
Fuck, man learn some nomenclature.

may the lord of light cast his light upon you
that's some horrifying shit man

H2O2, it blows up upon just looking at it wrong

DO NOT WORK ALONE

I'm gonna be an arms length away from the emergency shower with the proper gear and two other people.
will do.

Lysergic acid diethylamide.

can you nitrate that moar

Fiction about trying to convincing cold war Russians to mix the most potent neurotoxin known with the most oxidizing(read: explosive) substance known.

Dubs checked.

Thiotimoline. How can it dissolve in water before it's put into water?

I work at a plant that uses both anhydrous ammonia and chlorine. Not anything particularly exotic, but it's pretty spooky to walk by the railcar areas and see hundreds of thousands of pounds of that shit just sitting there. Also pretty spooky when the tank truck full of 98% sulfuric acid shows up, especially because that could just be rolling down the highway next to you and you would have no idea.

I've also visited a plant that produces HCN, there's antidote kits placed throughout the area for small releases but everyone is thoroughly drilled to just run and leave behind anyone who goes down in a large release.

Organic phos or triflouric acid
Don’t like working with

The Noble Gas compounds. How the heck does a Noble Gas combine with anything?

You are babby boy who does not understand that some noble gases do not pull their electrons as tightly as one would expect and that some things pull electrons away enough to gives bondies

underrated

>all those weakly bonded Nitrogen's

ayy bb

This stuff has no right to exist. On the plus side though it has the least spooky name of any chemical ever made.

Holy shit. Let me guess, it breaks the oxygen bond into radicals pretty fucking easily.
I could see it as a strong oxidant.

Wtf

it's not as volatile though without the oxygens, right?

...

I would guess it dissociates into nitrogen gas due to stress or high temperature.

I would guess it dissociates into nitrogen gas due to stress or high temperature.
There shouldn't be any redox reaction like combustion.

>This is Chlorine trifluoride-tan, she always seems to be isolated and lonely because everyone is afraid they'll combust or explode if they go near her. She always wears a gas mask so she doesn't contaminate the air too much. Her right eye is missing and no one has been brave enough to ask her what happened to it.

Id say X-rays are pretty dangerous, because you cant see them.

scopolamine alkaloids from the angel trumpet/datura plants
5-MEO-DIPT (Foxy Methoxy)
Bromo-DFly
Carfentanil (< 20ug LD50)
JWH-Derivatives (cause excited delirium, people to eat other people, etc)

Dimethyl mercury, that shit is deadly.

I thought they transport sulphuric acid as Oleum?

Not strictly a chemical compund but liquid helium is weird shit. Adding heat to freeze it? Coating the inside of a container. Self pouring. Weird....

>scopolamine alkaloids
Scopolamine is a single compound, not a class of them.

My favorite chemical is Flixapermanoutrionianfeleposofraziamolebogonide

I love to take a bath in it because it purifies my chakras.

ClF3
>ignites asbestos and sand
>destroys Quartz
>nazis found it to dangerous for flamethrowers
>to reactive as rocket propelant

around 1950
>a one-ton steel container was loaded with liquid ClF3
>which split while it was being maneuvered onto a dolly
>the ClF3 burned through 12inches of concrete and 30 inches of gravel.

One eyewitness described the incident by stating,
>“The concrete was on fire!
