I cringe extra hard when people talk about Bell's theorem or anything similar.

boltzmann brains

This is really scary desu

The thermodynamics of moving bodies.

I don't have emotional reactions to science because I'm not a woman

The parental conflict hypothesis of genomic imprinting.

I know this is a meme post written by a 14 year old, but emotions are actually extremely important in science. You wouldn't have science unless you had people with an emotional investment into whatever they're studying.

retarded popsci garbage

no that introduces bias

Emotional investment != confirmation bias.
Also, everybody is biased to some degree, that's why scientists need other scientists to keep them in check. Every scientists is emotionally invested into whatever physical phenomenon they're investigating.

Bicamerialism

The so-called "anthropic principle" is borderline retarded. I have no respect for anyone who believes it has any merit.

Roko's basilisk

that the White is not inherently superior to all others

wow look at all these names of science things you guys sound super smart great discussion guys

>people with an emotional investment into whatever they're studying.

You don't need emotions for that. Not even a robot

Boltzmann brains aren't even the most off-putting implication of Boltzmann's work.

At the current rate of climate change and politics doing little to stop it, i dont think my grandkids will have grandkids

Or maybe you are the retard

The double slit quantum eraser experiment is 3spooky5me.

I think I heard some theory that your brain is two separate beings but only one can express itself. Probably butchered that summary.

Delayed choice quantum eraser* mah bad.

why? it triggers determinists so perfectly.

(You)

Bicameralism.

I think it's a neat theory but I can see why it'd be "off-putting" to many.

The fact that a mole can't even comprehend Avogadro's constant.

>The fact that a mole can't even comprehend Avogadro's constant.

If only you knew how good things really are.
Facts change.

That there's somebody else that looks exactly like you on earth and you haven't met. Forgot the name of the axiom though.
