Has any one got any anarcho-capitalist recommended reading charts or other sources?

Perhaps try reading some Marxists and anarchists (old ones, fuck Althusser) to help you understand why private property and anarchism are mutually exclusive terms.

Rousseau unintentionally promotes an-cap in his works.

I'm going to start a Satanic-Jainism movement

anarchy means fuck all nowadays

...

How the fuck can one come to that retard conclusion? The general will justifies the limitation of individual liberty by the people as a whole because the good of the collective is the good of the individual in his view.

Ancraps are morons who think humans are born to and can thrive in vacuums.

Rousseau is considered far and wide a republican (no relation to the US party).

Charts are for idiots who never end up reading anything.

A good starting point is Rothbard's Ethics of Liberty. If that doesn't show you how absolutely idiotic the paradoxical concept of anarcho capitalism is, then congrats, you've found your perfect ideology.

Read any book on anarchy and any book on capitalism, since it's pretty clear you don't understand either.

Sorry about how many replies you've gotten from cucks. Ignore them. Here is a handy chart.

>Has any one got any anarcho-capitalist recommended reading charts or other sources?
go read some fallout lore/fanfic

>anarchy
>capitalism

anyway, I think that "anarcho"-capitalists are probably the most hated group, both by people on the right and on the left, probably because it really is the most stupid ideology.

This is accurate. People adhere to this ideology due to pure dick measurement. They feel the need to prove that they dislike the state, so what's the most "anti-state" ideology? And then they become ancaps without even thinking about how anarcho-capitalism would work.

I have a reading recommendation for ancaps : try it

Rousseauian inspired anarchism would be more of an anarcho-primitivism a la Zerzan or someone like that.

Please don't violate my emotional NAP

If one were to entirely misread both Rousseau and Zerzan, indeed. Which happens all the time.

I was shooting heroin and reading “The Fountainhead” in the front seat of my privately owned police cruiser when a call came in. I put a quarter in the radio to activate it. It was the chief.

“Bad news, detective. We got a situation.”

“What? Is the mayor trying to ban trans fats again?”

“Worse. Somebody just stole four hundred and forty-seven million dollars’ worth of bitcoins.”

The heroin needle practically fell out of my arm. “What kind of monster would do something like that? Bitcoins are the ultimate currency: virtual, anonymous, stateless. They represent true economic freedom, not subject to arbitrary manipulation by any government. Do we have any leads?”

“Not yet. But mark my words: we’re going to figure out who did this and we’re going to take them down … provided someone pays us a fair market rate to do so.”

“Easy, chief,” I said. “Any rate the market offers is, by definition, fair.”

He laughed. “That’s why you’re the best I got, Lisowski. Now you get out there and find those bitcoins.”

“Don’t worry,” I said. “I’m on it.”

I put a quarter in the siren. Ten minutes later, I was on the scene. It was a normal office building, strangled on all sides by public sidewalks. I hopped over them and went inside.

“Home Depot™ Presents the Police!®” I said, flashing my badge and my gun and a small picture of Ron Paul. “Nobody move unless you want to!” They didn’t.

“Now, which one of you punks is going to pay me to investigate this crime?” No one spoke up.

“Come on,” I said. “Don’t you all understand that the protection of private property is the foundation of all personal liberty?”

It didn’t seem like they did.

“Seriously, guys. Without a strong economic motivator, I’m just going to stand here and not solve this case. Cash is fine, but I prefer being paid in gold bullion or autographed Penn Jillette posters.”

Nothing. These people were stonewalling me. It almost seemed like they didn’t care that a fortune in computer money invented to buy drugs was missing.

I figured I could wait them out. I lit several cigarettes indoors. A pregnant lady coughed, and I told her that secondhand smoke is a myth. Just then, a man in glasses made a break for it.

“Subway™ Eat Fresh and Freeze, Scumbag!®” I yelled.

Too late. He was already out the front door. I went after him.

“Stop right there!” I yelled as I ran. He was faster than me because I always try to avoid stepping on public sidewalks. Our country needs a private-sidewalk voucher system, but, thanks to the incestuous interplay between our corrupt federal government and the public-sidewalk lobby, it will never happen.

I was losing him. “Listen, I’ll pay you to stop!” I yelled. “What would you consider an appropriate price point for stopping? I’ll offer you a thirteenth of an ounce of gold and a gently worn ‘Bob Barr ‘08’ extra-large long-sleeved men’s T-shirt!”

He turned. In his hand was a revolver that the Constitution said he had every right to own. He fired at me and missed. I pulled my own gun, put a quarter in it, and fired back. The bullet lodged in a U.S.P.S. mailbox less than a foot from his head. I shot the mailbox again, on purpose.

“All right, all right!” the man yelled, throwing down his weapon. “I give up, cop! I confess: I took the bitcoins.”

“Why’d you do it?” I asked, as I slapped a pair of Oikos™ Greek Yogurt Presents Handcuffs® on the guy.

“Because I was afraid.”

“Afraid?”

“Afraid of an economic future free from the pernicious meddling of central bankers,” he said. “I’m a central banker.”

I wanted to coldcock the guy. Years ago, a central banker killed my partner. Instead, I shook my head.

“Let this be a message to all your central-banker friends out on the street,” I said. “No matter how many bitcoins you steal, you’ll never take away the dream of an open society based on the principles of personal and economic freedom.”

He nodded, because he knew I was right. Then he swiped his credit card to pay me for arresting him.

I wasn't even arguing against ancapism you dumb faggot

If you're a capitalist, you're not an anarchist. Get outta here with this.

That doesn't apply here, cuckitalist.

Yes. SEK3 and Karl Hess are the only redeemable parts of the entire lolbert/ancrap shitfest. Maybe early Rothbard too.

Holy shit I'm dying.

I've still yet to see someone give me a satisfactory explanation on how contract rights and disputes are handled in an ancap society. Without a government third party it seems like the side with the most power will always fuck you over in a contractual dispute.

commie faggot get out my helicopter

This is fucking good

It would seem that this thread has sparked some controversy

Not really. The circlejerking commies are being ignored, as they should be.

Guide to fascist literature?

It's the only political ideology that I feel would work other than capitalism

nonsense upon stilts

I don't understand the helicopter joke.

Pinochet

It doesn't. Don't bother. A free society always outdoes authoritarian ones.

Still not sure I understand.

Just use google man

I got a wikipedia article about a chilean dictator. Apparently he committed a lot of human rights violations but the closest thing I got to 'helicopter' was that Chile's air force general didn't like him.

This is gonna be you if you keep being an incompetent fool.

>muh i hate capitalism, small government, laissez faire and individual freedom

daily reminder: you are not living in a socialist country, you are not living in a "neo-liberal" america, you are not living in a "post- apocalyptic" capitalist world
you are just living in a fascist utopia

The fact that you would die to defend mere property indicates to me it would not be worth it to steal from you, although I could probably kill you with little trouble given your low intelligence.

Knowing that "anarcho-capitalism" is an oxymoron has nothing to do with "my ideology," that is, I am not a Marxist, Socialist or Communist. The belief in it is an expression of your own unconscious ideology: you refuse to recognize that capitalism cannot exist in the absence of private property, which can't exist absent the state.

Well, this actually explains a lot. I was wondering why people thought "Trump's giving free helicopter rides" was so funny.

Peak level AnCap here. OP you only really need 2 books. "Anatomy of the State" and "Man, Economy and State", both by Rothbard.

/pol/ fucked you up good huh

I'm not an ancap myself, but you could at least actually engage with their arguments instead of hand-waving their political theory away as an oxymoron. There are books and books describing how one might achieve private property sans the state.

I've read Hayek, Mises, and Rothbard: I used to be an ancap. All of their work hinges on a fundamental misunderstanding of the exact constitution of private property

Fair enough.

I'm curious, what is the misunderstanding?

lmao

And what is the misunderstanding, user?

>I could probably kill you with little trouble given your low intelligence
Holy shit kek
This isn't your tabletop RPG. Have you ever shot anything at all?

Anarchism is capitalist by default.

You're better off engaging Scientologists about Hubbard. You don't debate cultists you laugh at them.

Anarchy as talked about by ancaps isn't the fairy tale where people will stop trying to boss each other and no "structures of power" will exist. It's the lack of an institution that thrives on breaching property. Anarchy etymollogically means "lack of ruler", so it's not really absurd to say "anarchocapitalism" if it means an ideology that theorises a capitalist society with no obligatory, forceful ruler. You are only ruled by your own objective conditions.

>anarchists of any kind
*tips*

MY SIDES

>americans

The notion that private property exists by virtue of its privacy, i.e. that any thing I own is my "private" property, endowed with special significance by the moral necessity of the NAP. The problem is that this conception of property does not fit with anarchism: since it is your general "right" to own property (in given circumstances e.g. homesteading) others are duty-bound to recognize that right. This sort of deontological foundation for rights needs some approximation of the state to satisfy it: there must be some sort of mediator to ensure that other persons acknowledge your right to your private property. This is why "anarcho-capitalism" is self-contradictory.

how to be a massive dweeb 101 I guess.
