How to develop passion for science/my field of study? Im not that interested but I want to be

Why'd you force yourself.

Cause its the right thing to do

Just keep forcing yourself
you could do a lot worse than a career in science
that's basically my plan

Like I cant be bothered to go to class or study. Heres my day, (Monday)
>Wake up at 10
>Have class at 12
>Dont go
>Play games all day
>Notice homework is due at midnight at 6
>"I'll bullshit at 8"
>bullshit it at 8
>get drunk
>never, ever study just do homework
>barely pass classes

I want to love this stuff so bad but I cant into it and its killing me

doing homework is studying, dumbass

EMBRACE MASOCHISM
Masochism is fantastic. Happiness is the worst pain that anyone can experience, and can only be achieved from lifestyle mutilation. We desire subconsciously to be absolved of our sins, however you yourself are the only God you know! So, you must absolve yourself.
You enjoy video games, sleeping in, not working, doing drugs, being lazy. Kill everything you enjoy. Embrace all that you hate. The devil wishes you to be idle. Every moment must be a betrayal to your immediate desires, and every moment you must strive towards absolution. Heaven is a place deep within your mind, my friend. Only through a purging of the devil within can you be happy. Depression is bliss, I know. No obligations. Nothing to do. An inch away from non-existence. But you must exist. You must crave the pain of life, the monotony, the endless Sisyphean struggle, the living hell, burning, burning, burning your mind away with every moment. And only when you burn away the last atom of your soul will you be granted the ultimate status: Endless; Nameless.

that's a boy

Ru4reel? Holy guck

good

you say that after i saved her (him)

Who's this cumplum?

how do you know?

Liar

You can't really "develop" passion but what you can do is find some aspect of the field that connects with something you are passionate about. Or you could just switch to something you like.

thanks, I wasn't going to save, now I will

>And only when you burn away the last atom of your soul will you be granted the ultimate status: Endless; Nameless.

for some reason this reminded me of my study sessions it's a hell of a ride :>)

Who is this semen demon? I want to jerk off to her nippy nips.

>her

You don't need to love it, you need discipline.
Remember it's called work for a reason. Work isn't fun, it's work.

>How to develop passion for science/my field of study? Im not that interested but I want to be

every time you solve a problem.... masterbate.

>tfw u are me

>and me

>How to develop passion for science/my field of study?
Stop saving pornographic images onto your computer and posting them on work safe boards, how bow da?

Anyone has any tips/self-help books/videos on how to concentrate better for studying, especially for engineering? I must do a lot of work on my PC (90% of my study materials are on PC + programming) and I get distracted extremely easily even though I am very interested in my field.

You guys honestly don’t belong in college and should just drop out. Seriously, join the navy or merchant marines or something. Travel, get your ya-ya’s out. Be a prole for a few years and see what that shits like.

>Drugs
Nicotene, and caffiene are great for the daily grind. When i really need to buckle down, aderall is great but i prefer it for playing music/socializing. Weed actually really helps me study in low doses, it kinda mutes all the distractions. It works for conceptual stuff but i wouldnt reccomend it for pure math. I have a friend who smokes pot like a chimney and he loves to program high.
>Meditiation.
Just sit upright comfortably and think about nothing for twenty minutes a day. If you fall asleep its ok, youre just tired. If thoughts keep racing into your head, just acknowledge them , do not allow them to proliferate.
>Listen to classical/nonverbal music while you
>study.
I listen to either classical or dubstep when i study. Figure out if you work better in the presence of other people or completely alone and do what works for you. If you are getting distracted, it normally means you need a break. Either jack off, smoke, eat, or work out then go back to your study.
>Physical fitness
is also really important for focus. Around 20 mins cardiovascular exersize a day makes for a much, much sharper mind. I normally get a little high when i study (weed, low dose) or get stimulants in my body.
>Have an artistic outlet
like music, poetry or drawing. It helps get all the feelings out and allows you to focus on science.

Focus really comes from lifestyle more than anything. Do what makes you feel good and dont push too hard.

I mean college is really for finding yourself more than anything. There is much more to college than studying and success.

OP, I am sorry. I also enjoy procrastinating, doing drugs, and playing video games. I guess I also just enjoy my field and I enjoy learning anything really. I take a lot of courses out of my study for fun in addition to GEs though so maybe that's why. My only advice to you is that maybe you just don't like academia. Try an internship, and see how you like that. I'd say if you don't, change fields or you'll die unhappy.
t. Graduating Physics major with minors in History and Comp. Sci.

Nah, that’s bullshit. College is indeed for studying.

>"finding yourself" only to be 1000s of dollars in debt
