It has. Things like societal pressures have kept it around a bit longer than it would have stayed otherwise, but the vast majority of humans are not attracted to fatties. Just because there are a few groups of people who have a predisposition to non-advantageous behaviors doesnt mean its not being selected against. Evolution isnt black and white, theres lots of grey area. However, if you find yourself in the minority, more often then not you are a dying breed, and there’s usually a reason for it.

Discipline goes against biology in the case of food consumption, and when there is abundance, people naturally become fat, except for rich people, who have the luxury of time to sculpt their bodies.
